"Today we visited Sabine in her eagle's nest high above the thick fog over Lake Constance and St.Gallen. What happened to this pub chapeau! Homely, tasteful furnishings with a fireplace, a good selection and the ingredients are only hand picked and of the highest quality and taste. The menu leaves nothing to be desired, the goat cheese tastes fine and balanced and is warm, the mussels in a bit of spicy curry sauce are a positive surprise, the veal liver is a revelation I've never had better! Unfortunately the wine was a bit too cold. For dessert there was cinnamon and mango ice cream. Both were absolutely successful, but especially the cinnamon ice cream, which is supposed to be extremely difficult to make homemade in this quality. Overall, it was a successful banquet to celebrate a reunion and surrounded by perfect service and hospitality! What else would you expect from Sabine! "

"Wir waren das erste Mal im Incantare. Das Essen war in einem Wort zusammengefasst– fantastisch. Jeder Teller ein Gedicht, dazu die Erklärungen am Tisch und zu jedem Gang eine ausführliche Dokumentation in Bild und Wort. Wir kamen mit hohen Erwartungen und diese wurden übertroffen. Der Chef bereitet den Apéro höchstpersönlich am Tisch zu und nimmt sich am Schluss des Abends ausführlich Zeit für die Gäste. Die Weinbegleitung war perfekt abgestimmt, der Sommelier überzeugt mit seinem Wissen und lebt seinen Beruf. Und wer Wein nicht mag, sollte die alkoholfreie Begleitung versuchen. Perfekt erklärt, danke dem Herrn aus Bayern ; Schon diese Drinks verdienen aufgrund ihrer Kreativität fünf Punkte. Rundum perfekt, wir kommen wieder."

"Das Restaurant ist sehr abseits gelegen, am Alten Rhein und bei einem Naturschutzgebiet. Schöne Lage.Die Steaks sind von guter Qualität. Die Preise eher hoch, aber angemessen. Störend ist aber, dass für die Soße über EUR 4,00 extra zu bezahlen ist, dies sollte beim Fleisch enthalten sein. Die Weinkarte ist eher dürftig, es sind keinerlei Weine aus der Region bzw. Österreich zu finden. Weinpreise eher hoch.Ärgerlich, dass die Lüftung im Lokal offenbar nicht richtig funktioniert. Die Kleidung muss daher nach dem Besuch stark ausgelüftet werden.Trotz dieser Mängel ist das Restaurant empfehlenswert."
