Always crucial when you just tag along from a Business Colleague late Lunch booking as it turns out, I need not to worry my Garlic Chicken was supremely tasty just as described compliments to the Chef Hats Off to our Host Evelyn who was a pro from start to finish will be back in no time young Lady

I tried this restaurant with a Groupon deal for steak and a bottle of wine for £25 per person. I may be a cheapskate, but it could have been a costly error otherwise! The steak was outstanding and the wine was decent. I will definitely be trying their a la carte menu next time. It is definitely worth a visit.

We dined here while we were staying at the hotel and food was good. I really enjoyed the bangers and mash. They have nice music and relaxed seating. Food and staff were good too. Prices are similar to other Woking restaurants so we found it quite convenient and nice. Waiter told us they were about to change the menu which is good and means that they are making some efforts...

Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Staff, particularly Rahman Alex, were very friendly and helpful. Staff came out and sang Happy Birthday to my son as it was his 8th birthday on our stay. We had breakfast on 2 days. Plenty to chose from, you couldn't go hungry unless you were very fussy!! Evening meal, couldn't fault either. The kids burger chips is apparently the best ever! Lamp rump and burger on main menu were also excellent as were the puddings!

We have been to a few places in Woking and this has to be one of the best for the type of ambiance and food we like. Staff were pleasant and we can not really complain about the food. The meal was unrushed and what was best is that the we were very pleased with the overall ambiance of the hotel. And restaurant has a nice bar and everything you need for s relaxing meal. It is not in your typical high street setting but provides the same level of food and service in a better setting.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, we opted to have a cold drink at the bar area. Unfortunately, the beers were not as chilled as we had hoped, more like room temperature. Despite this, we enjoyed a delicious 2-course meal at the restaurant. My partner's scallops and fillet steak were excellent. However, my sirloin was overcooked and dry, even though I had requested it to be medium rare. The blue cheese sauce served with it was clumpy and lacked flavor. To make matters worse, it took 40 minutes for the bill to arrive. Overall, I would rate the food experience as poor this time. Perhaps I will try the fillet next time.

Day 2 Dinner in Woking. I chose Wocca Grill and Bar, Hilton's in house restaurant for dinner as I didn't have time to go out and explore. Again I ordered typical British dish, Banger and mash in onion gravy with caramelized sweet onion. With that I chose to have a glass of cabernet sauvignon from Chile. The dish was delicious to say the least. The sweet caramelized onion balanced out the flavor of mashed potatoes superbly. The banger is one of the best I have tasted. And the red wine was a deep red with an aroma of fruit, oak and chocolate. Awesome and full bodied. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in the vicinity. And do check their winelist. It's awesome.

I'm not convinced that changing a name is always for the better. The hotel, formerly known as Holiday Inn, has now become Double Tree by Hilton. The restaurant, previously called Hugos, is now known as Wocca. Both names don't exactly inspire me. We visited when it was Hugos, courtesy of a Groupon deal. The deal represented excellent value both times, but the experience depends on the staff and ambience. The restaurant seemed unchanged after the name change, and I believe the staff are the same. Went here for an evening meal on a saturday night when staying at the hotel. We sat and waited for 30mins and hadn't even received our drinks or an apology. The maître d was overworked and not only seating people but taking orders while serving staff spent more time clearing tables than looking after customers. We got fed up of waiting and asked for our meals to be sent to our room. After speaking to the restaurant manager he offered 50% off the meal and made an excuse about a function in another room causing the poor service for restaurant guests.
