Amazing homemade sandwiches and treats. Bread it always fresh. Lovely fresh fillings. The quiche are amazing! Welcoming and helpful staff. My children love to come and choose something.

Really friendly and welcoming privately run shop with a modest cafe on the side. All cafe food freshly prepared very tasty, almost felt as if we were old school friends. Be aware table space inside is limited.

The food is very good, although a little overpriced but the staff are very rude and lack basic customer service skills. Every time I’ve been in the card machine has been slow and god forbid you walk towards the door, they are quick to shout that you need to wait. Voir le carte

Another gorgeous visit to the best bakery lovely fresh baked goods my rolls were still warm , the staff were friendly and made me smile which is much needed at the moment thankyou for being open and all your freshly baked goodies, we don’t need any negative comments I love this bakery lots of love and thankyou xxxxxx

We stopped by this bakery in the village for a quick bite early afternoon. We were hoping to find some vegan options but unfortunately, they only had one vegan sausage roll available. It was disappointing that they didn't have any vegan cakes on offer. In this day and age, it's surprising that they don't have more vegan options like many other places do. Additionally, one staff member was observed touching the lettuce leaves with her hands behind the salad bar, which was a bit off-putting. Overall, not a place I would suggest trying out.

Small and very friendly cafe attached to an amazing and very busy bakery. Service was quick and polite, the food so, so good. We all had a variation on full English, which comes with toast and marmalade, as well as really good coffee and tea. All ingredients are locally sourced where applicable, obviously coffee isn 't from any part of Sussex, but it was really well made. The marmalade was locally made and very, very good. The quality of food was exceptional, and the atmosphere cosy but comfortable and pleasant. having found it once, we returned again as the toast and marmalade was too good to have just once. Was in the area wanted a bite is only bakery/cafe in village. Ordered small sausage roll latte at counter, staff asked eat in or takeaway so we sat down to eat. All was well. Food nothing special at all. Stuck side salad i didnt eat or want next to my sausage roll. When came to pay, it was £7.85, £5 for sausage roll. I stated i would pay it but wasn 't happy as wasnt informed would cost double to eat in. I paid manager came over when I explained (after I 've already paid remember) both manager staff started shouting at me coz 'it 's on the menu ', i ordered at the counter, had never been there before expect small extra charge but double?! Thankyou for reading our review. Now we fully understand why people told us in Tenterden it’s a beautiful village a must to see but eat elsewhere “avoid Wills bakery . Oh my, what a letdown, on every aspect of what you expect from an eatery. Each one of my family went in individually during our Air BnB stay to pick up a few snacks. I've wanted to like Will's, I really have. But every visit is met with terse glares, abrupt replies and, on three occasions, an incorrect bill. Never undercharged, interestingly.This week's instalment was an older blonde woman who was downright rude, complete with eye rolling and muttering. That is, until an older gentleman came in making lewd, innuendo filled comments (appropriate from the 1970's perhaps) and then she was charm and giggles personified. Even the younger, more pleasant lady looked embarrassed, as though putting up with the grumpy old Aunt visiting for Christmas.Perhaps it's one of those local shops for local people.
