Never disappointed always great food and service same about the gang on do call middle aged lads acting like children and being very rude to the great staff doing an excellent job

Stay away from this former great restaurant. The landlady is rude, the management is poor, and the customer service is lacking. They won't even make eye contact and there are always lines at the bar. We didn't even stay for a drink, let alone a meal.

Called in with 8 others on the way to the Burnley -Chelsea game and we were all most impressed with the welcoming hospitable barmaid/staff and superb breakfast menu..the mega breakfast was great and good value.Ales and other beer were good too will call in again next time we are up from the West country Voir le carte

We had a great experience at this restaurant with delicious food, including a separate gluten free menu. Milly provided excellent service and Anton, the chef, was very friendly. They were able to accommodate us even though we hadn't made a reservation, which we were grateful for. The food was fantastic and we would definitely return. Thank you.

We have been enjoying the food at this wonderful pub for years. Today though, we walked in and shortly after walked out. A number of heavily tattooed men builder types were stood around the bar swearing loudly. This was late afternoon and at a time when families may come in with children. The young man behind the bar obviously heard them and said nothing! It’s a shame if the standards are let slip!

Had the pleasure of meeting some old friends today and i have to say what a fantastic service, From arriving at the pub to leaving i was made to feel so welcome by the young girl behind the bar, so helpful and nothing was to much trouble for her, A good range of food choices and what a good healthy meal it was, hats off to the chef and please keep up the good work as I will be returning, Fantastic service all round well done Definitely worth a visit Voir le carte

When my family and I moved to the Rossendale area a few years ago, we were looking for a cozy local pub where we could enjoy good food and a welcoming atmosphere. The Woolpack is just that! The food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff and local patrons are friendly and always up for a chat. Whether it's your first time visiting or you're a regular, you're greeted warmly every time. Plus, the pub is dog-friendly, so our furry friend always gets lots of attention and love!

I've always driven passed and thought about trying so we went in for lunch. It was very quiet which was good. The barmaid was very pleasant and we sat down where we wanted. I ordered the rag pudding and my wife went for the tuna melt. The meals arrived quickly and they looked fantastic. The rag pudding was really tasty, the gravy was very meaty and the mushy peas were perfect. I think the chips may be frozen ones, I may be wrong, but they weren't bad. My wife's tuna melt was on a really soft roll. Plenty of fries. The sandwich was tasty, however it could have done with a lot more cheese as there wasn't much on there. Not a bad little place and I'd definitely go back again.

Attended a family party at the wool pack pub it was very clean and the bar staff where brilliant however unfortunately the landlady made us feel very unwelcome from very early on.Promises where made regarding the booking none of which where kept! We was made to feel like she was watching our every move and couldn’t feel comfortable, it felt like she was looking for a reason to come over and have a go at us all. This was made worse when the landlady eventually approached us all with an extremely aggressive manor and was high rate about small things. She outlined her “rules” which where understandable but her attitude was appalling for someone who is meant to interact with the public. The land... Voir le carte
