"First of all it started with it with a drink then we had food after the owner stated it was good authentic Indian and American food, we ordered 2 of the empire burgers which was dry and rubbery and the amount it sauce made the burger soggy, we also ordered a balti which came out red in a tiny dish there was hardly any chicken which was cooked terribly and the chicken was scrag ends, the naan bread wasn’t homemade it was shop brought it was a tough as dogs toy and the amount of grease on top was good enough for a pond, the food came out at odd times and they forgot the sides. The place was like a ghost town with very odd cheap decor they only had one member of staff which was clumsy and didn’t know really what to do, also no draft for fizzy pop, we told the waitress about the food and didn’t do much about it the chef didn’t apologise it was just an excuse of “short staff” which if you’re going to take people’s money you still need to keep up the standards. THIS PLACE NEEDS SHUTTING DOWN IVE HAD BETTER MICROWAVE FOOD"

After having new management and a complete transformation, this restaurant never fails to amaze me, you are always treated by welcoming staff who ensure your service is outstanding, the menu is diverse with Indian and American dishes available and the food always tastes unreal and the bar is just as good too!

Possibly the worst fish and chips I have ever had. Wife had the curry and she said that was lovely. Wouldn't recommend but if you do go don't order the fish. You say fake review. Is this not your pub. You got our bill wrong. The new girl charged us for a bottle of wine but my wife only had a glass. Remember ???

Came here the other day with my friends after a friend suggested it to us. We walked in and were instantly greeted by a polite waitress who seated us to table and took our order. The food was delicious! I highly recommend the mixed grill and mutton biriyani we will definitely be coming back to try the desserts next time. 100% recommend this place.

excellent level of service food excellent the staff was really helpful. I am blindly registered and must sit in a certain area, the personal was really understandable and allows us to sit at a table of our choice, in contrast to most restaurants that they sit where they want, regardless of their impediment. I would recommend that everyone take the time to visit, I will definitely be excellent again soon.

Pub virtually empty but took an age for our order to be taken and served. Waiting staff were lovely. Food came out sporadically so we were eating separately some of the time. Were told at the end that a 12.5% service charge would be automatically added to the bill but could be taken off if requested. We asked for it to be taken off as we wanted to decide on our own tip. When the bill arrived there was an extra item at the bottom simply called Food which was for £11. When we queried this we were told it was in fact the service charge (disguised to look like another item of food I presume). Needless to say we got it taken off the bill. Just be careful and check everything on your bill.

We complained about one of our meals and the owner was very rude and confrontational, stating he would not reduce the bill as ‘we have to pay for what we ordered’ TERRIBLE customer service, the meal was inedible coming complete with a human hair! The owner’s response to my review completely proves my point! Willing to lie about our dining experience. We did not run out and not pay, I spoke about my dissatisfaction and was told that if we ordered the food we had to pay. I am glad you have reported my review, I will gladly talk to google about my review. You have CCTV, we can use that as our evidence of the way you spoke to us! Trip advisor has plenty of reviews like mine, we can’t all be wron...

new owners* Quick update on the Wheatsheaf pub WV10 7LU. Great and super handy Motorhome overnight stop off the M6/M5. Ignore the Trip Advisor reviews new owner is working really really hard to undo the bad press created recently by a former manager. Hard working, honest, (I left my card and cash on the bar and got it back intact) graceful and super friendly staff who go out of their way to help and make you feel comfy. Great menu featuring tex mex and Indian classics. Quiet flat tarmac car park not sure they still offer EHU as electric charge points going in at the moment. Has a late licence til 1am at the Friday and into weekend so expect it to be much rowdier or fun… depending on your vie...

"Been wanting to come here for a very long time after driving/walking past it, and my partner has wanted to come here since she’s moved here. Hand sanitizer upon arrival with track trace check in code. All the staff are very welcoming, friendly, helpful and all very masks. The lady we had who served us throughout our time (apologise I forgot her name began with A I think), she couldn’t have been anymore helpful. With a very wide range of food, she told us everything on the menu was very nice as she has tried everything! The decor of the restaurant is what I’d expect in a typical Italian restaurant, very rustic and has a feel of being in Italy. To start I had the belly pork with Jack Daniels sauce, I’ve never tried belly pork and it was so tasty and very tender. My other half had the goats cheese in filo pastry which was also very nice. For mains, I had the Risotto con salsiccia (spicy sausage, peppers, onions, garlic, tomato and chilli). It was so nice I’m glad it was a big portion as I wanted more! I don’t think the sausage was spicy but overall I was very impressed. Other half had a cheese chicken mushroom calzone which was also nice. We had a nice bottle of white wine which absolutely complimented the whole meal. For dessert I had sorbet and other half had a deep fried cannoli once again both really nice. Reasonable priced meal for two people, and very highly recommended. Plenty parking and we will be back soon with our family. Very authentic home cooked Italian food and Cafe Casita is way better than some of these chain restaurants!!"
