I recently dined at a restaurant from the East and the food was incredibly delicious. However, I was disappointed by the very small portions, especially considering the high prices.

The restaurant offers delicious food and exceptional service. The average cost per person is between £20 and £30. The food quality, service, and atmosphere all score a perfect 5 out of 5.

hard call between 3 and 4 stars. a lot of space and good selection of drinks, but decor felt more like a school caféteria than a bar. would rather some of the other drinking places on the high road

We visited the restaurant on Friday as a group of 14 people. We were very impressed with the private dining area that was assigned to us. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable. The food was served promptly, hot, and delicious. It was definitely a great place to eat.

The food was absolutely superb and would score 5 stars on it's own. However the ambience and service were sub-standard for a sit down meal.I would recommend avoiding weekends or waiting until the dedicated dining area opens in early 2022.I can't emphasise enough how good the food was though.

My experience at East in West was fantastic. The Asian cuisine was exquisite with top-notch ingredients. We started with a seafood plate that was delicious and fresh. I then had a delicious and authentic Thai green curry. The staff was friendly and the newly renovated restaurant was stylish. Overall, we were very impressed and look forward to returning soon.

My friends and I decided to try out this restaurant after hearing that they served Chinese, Malaysian, and Japanese cuisine. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the lack of atmosphere. Our dining experience was ruined by three unruly children running around and screaming. When we inquired about sharing starters, the chef agreed, but we were charged extra for an additional prawn. The service was lacking, as the waitress seemed confused when we asked for wet wipes or a bowl of water. The sweet and sour prawns and Malaysian curry were decent, but the Chinese curry was terrible and tasted like it was from a packet. The prices were high, with a medium glass of wine costing £7.50. My husband and I went for lunch this weekend. It's a local restaurant for us, but we hadn't been in a couple of years due to a previous bad experience with noisy children. We decided to give it another chance. Unfortunately, the restaurant lacked atmosphere and character. The booth-style chairs were old and torn. There was a loud children's birthday party happening in the front of the restaurant (not the venue's fault).
