on 01.04.2017 we were in the yellow house in eltville, with a total of 10 people. the food was very delicious and the wine excellent. the service was very friendly and competent. there is also a terrace from which you have a very nice view of the Rhine.Tipp: best reserve a table in advance.

found for short search over tripadvisor and also went directly.The menu is pleasantly small, the wine card (regional typical) large and the service friendly. the band noodles with garnel and lobster sauce were delicious. I dare to doubt whether the sauce was self-made. also the spinach dumplings wounded. in general, something more sensitive should be tasted. the floor-to-ceiling kitchen invites and is recommended.

We were with a group visiting Eltville at a sunny day and after a unique boat tour at the Rhine in need for a good luncheon. Restaurant is close to the river and the center and has a very nice terrace overlooking the river. Of course they have good Riesling. I had a cold roast beef with baked potatoes. first of all, the yellow house impresses with its beautiful outside area with views of the eltviller castle and the surrounding weinberge. the service staff is extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. also children are welcome and get a pretty jewellery at the end. the ambiente is very good. Unfortunately, eating has left more and more in the past few years, so that we decided this year not to go there anymore. already last summer, it is clear that the quality of meat became worse, the dishes smaller....not what you can remember after a few weeks in the sense of: that was particularly delicious, as we go again. the worst came in winter 2016: an absolutely and completely inviolable escape....
