"This small but very sympathetic wine restaurant is difficult to find because the large restaurant is right next to it, but it is worth looking for. They have a number of very good wines from the Rhinegau region, among the whites not only Riesing, but also...pinot grigrio, sauvignon blanc and rivaner. The service of the owner (woman, the man is in the kitchen) is competent and friendly. The menu offers everything from soup to salad, from ham to cheese, from chicken to beef. If you can't find anything here, you're not hanged. The food is well presented and is delicious. No matter what you order, save space for one of the great cheese selections as a desert. My wife and I have been here recently and are not fed up. We only have two complaints. The first is small: the bread basket is inadequate. It contains sprouts, cheese twists and thin white bread. There's only a dark bread. It doesn't suit the fine wine and the food served here. Unfortunately, the other complaint is not limited to this restaurant. There is a smoking area of the restaurant that is separated by a glass door that is located in the dining area where the non-smoking sits. The service opens this door to serve this area. So far we were lucky to sit far enough to not be affected by the smoke. This disgusting practice should be stopped in this otherwise beautiful restaurant and in Berlin in general."

Man übersieht Weinkost gern neben der ausgedehnten vom Weyers nebenan. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Haben einen schönen Platz draußen bekommen und die kleinen Weinbegleiter sowie guten Wein genossen. Durchaus empfehlenswert.

One of the best and most beautiful places in our neighborhood! They even serve hand cheese with music! Good and very attentive service and very good food. We had cheese fondue for two and it was beautiful! Try it! You'll like it!

Das Weinkost ist glücklicherweise weiterhin eher ein Geheimtip. Direkt daneben residiert das um ein vielfaches größere Weyers. Aber das Weinkost ist einfach gemütlich und urig. Gute Weine, leckere, liebevoll angerichtete Kleinigkeiten dazu und eine immer freundliche Bedienung. Wir mögen es hier sehr. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Das Weinkost hat am Samstag und am Sonntag geschlossen.

Das Weinkost ist (glücklicherweise nach wie vor mehr oder weniger ein Geheimtip. Es gibt köstliche kleine und große Gerichte und eine glasklar fokussierte Auswahl deutscher Weine. Sehr zu empfehlen von den Speisen sind die Weinkostvariationen (Sülze, Leberpastete, Oliven, Frischkäsecreme, Handkäse mit Brot und Brezelchen in der Karte als kleine Schnurrpfeifereien sympathisch beschrieben. Auch der Rivaner und der Weißburgunder aus der Auswahl der offenen Weine schmecken uns gut, ebenso der offene Riesling (der angeblich dem Winzer am besten schmeckt... . Tolle, sehr persönliche kleine Weinstube in Wilmersdorf!
