Waterloo Cafe - Carte

Lovely little hidden gem. Very large breakfast. Stair climb to a nice second level. Loved being surrounded by Brits and not touristy.

Great breakfast to set you up for the day, very good value with a cuppa thrown in with the price. Will be coming back next time I'm in town.

Wanting a cooked breakfast, we decided to visit here having read the reviews and were not disappointed. It’s not glamorous, it’s a proper cafe, quick service, good food. Very busy with locals which is always a good sign. Hubby loved his breakfast and my chicken panini was delicious. Voir le carte

Bought a panini today, I was quite late for lunch and the sandwich they toasted was really stale. The ham was grey from being on display, cheese was ok but not much of it, bread was hard and dry, it was supposed to have basil in but there was only a tiny bit. I was disappointed as I have heard good things but my experience was poor.

I often drop in here when travelling through Waterloo. The reason being you can always rely on a decent bit of food at a good price. The place is popular and not oversized so you are a little at elbows at busy times. This adds to the atmosphere of a traditional London cafe. I had the breakfast bap, a meal to set you up for the day. A Deluxe breakfast was also had, washed down with coffee. If you visit you can order at the counter or there is table service. Very much worth pop in.

I studied English with EF just around the corner and some friends brought me to this restaurant, which turned out to be a lifesaver for a student like me. The food is delicious, the prices are surprisingly fair, and the staff is lovely. I had either a Tricolore or a Mozarella panini almost every day for a month - they really fed me well. I brought my friends along and it became our go-to spot. The service was quick and easy, and the friendly blonde waitress always took my order with a smile. The pastel de nata dessert is a must try! I heard they also do a great English Breakfast, as I saw many people ordering it. If you're in the area, definitely give this place a try. I will miss it now tha... Voir le carte
