"we were very close to this pub, which is open daily until 1 hour. but we were more interested in their 7 pounds of breakfast. the big breakfast is massive. 2 slices of multi-grain toast and butter, a quarter of a kartoffelsweet (some vague as an Aloo-Patha), baked beans, sawed mushrooms, brilliant speck, some haggis also good, black pudding better than most I have tasted on this trip, sausages and an egg. for drinks you can choose between coffee, tea and fresh orange juice. service is amazing. the personal is really helpful. it is a good place to visit [here link]"

No food on offer this time , been coming every edinburgh visit for years as a wee gem for great food , great portions and VFM. Hope this is only temporary

this place near the burg and a very cozy and warm place. the kerl on the switch was very friendly and jovial. we had some drinks here and I liked it here. beautiful place to visit.

wow the large Scottish breakfast, speck, ei, black pudding, haggis, bon and a potato scoone....add a guinness and have all 5 food groups. I rolled the door. it's good for a visit in the old town. Voir le carte

Great Bar, friendliest pub we visited all weekend, staff couldn 't do enough for us, hospitality top notch. That good we decided to spend most of the afternoon in here. Thanks from all the Barnsley 'Stag ' Lads

we have waited for a table to be available in a nearby restaurant and immersed here everything was super service was fast and friendly and the prices were impressive for such a good, central location. just a short walk from the train station if they don't have much time

In Edinburgh for a hen weekend . We stumbled across The Wash Bar by accident. Glad we did . It was the best bar we visited all weekend. Staff were so friendly and approachable. Food was every bit as good as the drinks If you visit and your getting a bite to eat you must try Frickles . Surprisingly delicious. Will definitely visit this bar again . A big thumbs up from us hens
