"Wasabi is situated in a quiet residential area north of the Danube. Donaufelder Strasse is quite easy to find and you can't miss the restaurant as it has a lime green facade. Once inside, I was struck by the functional but pleasant decor. We were...there on a warm evening and like all the other diners we sat at a table in the large but secluded terrace at the back of the restaurant which was extremely pleasant. We were presented with a comprehensive menu offering sushi and sashimi along with a range of other traditional dishes. The wine menu was somewhat less eclectic offering a choice of one red and one white wine, together with a single type of sake. On further enquiry a second variety of white wine was found (a gruener veltliner). We started with a mixed platter of sushi, maki and sashimi all of which was fresh and nicely presented. I followed this with Yaki Udon which was excellent. The waitress was very helpful and arranged for my dish to be customised with additional tofu and chilli. The choice of dessert was fairly limited but both the banana fritters and the chocolate gateau seemed to be well appreciated by our party. Overall I thought this was a very pleasant, authentic Japanese restaurant that I would happily go back to."

the delivery always works well, eating comes in the regular on time. the Sunomono salad was good. unfortunately noodles agamo instead of entenfilet strip with crispy disappoint that I cannot stand. disappoint.

Das Lokal ist sehr sauber was man nicht von allen Vorstadtasiaten sagen kann. Essen recht gut, Vorspeise - Garnelen in Teigtäschchen fritiert - sogar ausgezeichnet. Gute, freundliche und schnelle Bedienung. Moderate Preise.Wir kommen wieder.

They brought wrong order twice and after an hour delay. The portions are very small and surely they don't know how to roll maki and make sushi. The garden is beautiful, but only if you want an atmospheric view. If you... just want to avoid it. I don't throw any other employees out of the menu.

Visited Wasabi on a quiet June evening, large group of 10 people, the mixed sushi plate was good, but since we were a large group, we did not get the usual format of presentation of the sushi. When we arrived late and the service lasted some time, we couldn't order the desert. We thought the part of the mixed sushi and sashimi was not great and ordered the desert if we had time. Price is probably medium, paid Eur 33 per person without drinks.
