"update in 2019 in the mai of the year we have again the place for approx. a week were planned to hike and visit the museum. unfortunately we didn't have the great luck with the weather. it was quite fresh with light snowfall in the night, hearty rain and the highest daily values around 3°. the place is still excellently guided and well maintained and now I can also contribute a few photos. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ this is a very neat place that is open all year round, on about 800m above sea level in the immediate vicinity of the fichtelsee. the floor and the modern well heated sanitary facilities are very well maintained. the parking spaces are available in different sizes, but always sufficient for caravans, tents and car. the operators are very friendly and very striving for their guests. the square is ideal as a starting point for hiking in and around the small town of fichtelberg and the fichtelseee with swimming possibilities, as well as hiking to the ochsenkopf and the other mountain chains. also the spa bath is located directly in the vicinity. the entire environment offers many sights of a lot of species, such as b. luisenburg with the rocksenlabyrint, carl can play festive, jars, mountaineers etc. the landscape offers a good opportunity to let the souls go and relax and recover. directly in the city there are many good restaurants that await with – generally very good – bourgeois cuisine. the price-performance ratio is generally excellent. also in the surrounding areas and in the trips in the mountains it is easy to eat. for us this place is always at the exit point when we are in the region."

I come from bamberg and want to get to know the next environment. I drove to the fichtelberg to the campsite, which is located directly on the beautiful FTT-sail. the campsite was great. everything was very clean and well maintained, the staff very friendly and the prices completely in order! the campsite is also simply well located to explore the region from there!

deserved 5 stars? price power right, great location atmosphere that invites to stay no matter what season. in summer with a cool drink on the terrace or in winter with homemade glowing wine in the hut. top service competent, friendly staff. great chef who likes to prepare himself with: end februar celebrated our steadfast high time in the hut and our expectations were exceeded. everything perfect from the ambiente, eating, drinks selection, deco etc. on individual wish was taken into consideration. top, nothing to put : always like to come
