"Wunderbares Ambiente. Obwohl sehr viel los war, wurden wir schnell und herzlich bedient. Das Essen kam auch zügig und war absolut lecker. "update in 2019 in the mai of the year we have again the place for approx. a week were planned to hike and visit the museum. unfortunately we didn't have the great luck with the weather. it was quite fresh with light snowfall in the night, hearty rain and the highest daily values around 3°. the place is still excellently guided and well maintained and now I can also contribute a few photos. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ this is a very neat place that is open all year round, on about 800m above sea level in the immediate vicinity of the fichtelsee. the floor and the modern well heated sanitary facilities are very well maintained. the parking spaces are available in different sizes, but always sufficient for caravans, tents and car. the operators are very friendly and very striving for their guests. the square is ideal as a starting point for hiking in and around the small town of fichtelberg and the fichtelseee with swimming possibilities, as well as hiking to the ochsenkopf and the other mountain chains. also the spa bath is located directly in the vicinity. the entire environment offers many sights of a lot of species, such as b. luisenburg with the rocksenlabyrint, carl can play festive, jars, mountaineers etc. the landscape offers a good opportunity to let the souls go and relax and recover. directly in the city there are many good restaurants that await with – generally very good – bourgeois cuisine. the price-performance ratio is generally excellent. also in the surrounding areas and in the trips in the mountains it is easy to eat. for us this place is always at the exit point when we are in the region."

"Wild herbal buffet was totally delicious and recommended! My absolute favorites, though all dishes were excellent and made with much love,the legwell Pesto Schnitzel,the sponge abortion!!! the carrots Giersch Quark and the vanilla milkshake! We will definitely come back!"

"Von außen etwas heruntergekommen, aber nicht beirren lassen. Innen ist es gut erhalten und auch der Wellnessbereich durchaus ansehnlich. Von der Küche und Bewirtung waren wir leider etwas enttäuscht. Haare im Essen ein No-Go, aber klar, kann passieren, könnte aber mit Haarbedeckung in der Küche vermieden werden, was klar erkennbar fehlte. Zumindest an diesem Abend. Dass die Küche um 20.30 Uhr schließt, wird hier besonders genau genommen. Arbeiterschutz? Kann sein. Dann sollte aber der Kellner die viertel Stunde vor Küchenschluss nicht verschwinden und nicht mehr erreichbar sein. Selbst unsere Kugel Eis um 20.32 Uhr als Nachspeise wurde auf Nachfrage des Kellners in der Küche abgelehnt. Als unser Unmut erkennbar wurde und das Wissen über die Haare (2x) in der gleichen Suppe am Vorabend an unserem Tisch, kam dann doch die Entwarnung um 20.45 Uhr. Wir könnten noch ein Eis bestellen. Puh. Nochmal gut gegangen. Kundenfreundlicher geht es schon noch ein wenig. Und bevor ein Kommentar bezüglich der oben genannten Zeiten oder Inhalte erfolgt: sechs Personen, die genau diese bestätigen können. Vielleicht lag es auch daran, dass wir als Sportlergruppe in Sportlerklamotten und (symbolisch gemeint) nicht in Anzug und Krawatte erschienen sind. Pros und Kontras gaben uns leider ein durchwachsenes Gefühl bezüglich unserer Zufriedenheit."
