"Fantastic brewpub in Ettlingen. Vogel was just across from my hotel, and so inevitably I ended up here a few times. The service is fast and friendly, the beers are great, and there's a decent food selection as well. It's mostly classic German pub food,...and the quality is pretty good. Separate to the main menu, there is also a grill area serving things like ribs and pork knuckle. The other great thing about Vogel is the atmosphere. It's always busy, often has live music, and you're always sure of a good time. Will be back"

Drinks are top. On request, a proBIERerle of the currently offered beers was always sufficient that you do not have to order something extraordinarily blind. You always find a beer that tastes. I've been to the Vogel Hausbreu a few times and I can say it is one of the best places in Ettlingen to have good beers with friends. My previous visits were during cold seasons so I could not enjoy the open yard on the...back It is a perfect place to have beers and enjoy a sunny spring day. Ask for the house beers, they will not dissapoint you

Beer is superb, atmosphere is typically German beer house. Not a fancy place, waiters try to be nice but place is overcrowded, just enjoy the beer. If the owner is around (the guy you will see on custards) and is not a too crowded evening...will you you the inside of the brewery upon personal requests.
