Came for an early birthday treat food was lovely and worth the money the childrens meals looked more like an adults.staff where lovely and friendly

We had a lovely 2 course meal each. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted lovely. The service was great too but the pub was very rowdy which we wasn’t impressed with.

Food delicious and reasonable. we all had burgers and fries £10. Nice dips and coleslaw. Drinks too expensive-£3 for a weak flavoured coke. Noisy for our visit as football was on tv, but nice surroundings.

The main part of the low review was the lack of dessert option. This was either croissant or muffin! This seemed to be a leftover from breakfast! We asked about it and were almost laughed at. Won’t be coming back as this wasn’t a three course meal in my view

I booked a table for four the food was rubbish and cold waste of £80. Little selection of curvery only roast beef that was hard to eat and no roast turkey Only three veg carrots was cold and not eatable . Very sad to see a nice hotel with such horrible food . Avoid avoid avoid

The Sunday lunch was average , I would rather have it on a plate. This is because the food goes cold quicker it’s hard to eat the food when you need gravy on your meat Yorkshire puds. Poor value for money. The lounge and grill bar was full of football fans cheering on the teams (Sunday 20oct) so went out to country park for evening meal (5 mins drive away). And found it much better food ...I think it’s a bad idea to have the locals take over the bar and grill when football is on the TVs...

some family members (7) for carvery at 16 o'clock on Sunday. the starter dried up, suppe would not come out of cripple, so had to remove top lid. only a lump cold crippled chaos. brotrolles stone-resistant. haupt was also terrible, end of the dried truthahn (server apologized) ham fat and no bark meat. veg and kartoffeln soggy and straight back from the beginning. so greasy and cold. there was a table with breakfast eating on him, ie, croissants, marmelade. seeded muffing and granola. that's what my two have eaten. we complained to the server, he laughed and said yes, it was left from the breakfast! Never in my 60 years I had such a embarrassing and unusable meal. I have never seen a negativ...

Took some family members (7) for carvery at 4pm Sunday. Starters dried up , soup wouldn’t come out of jug so had to remove lid tip out . Just a lump of cold congealed mess . Bread rolls rock solid. Main was equally terrible , end of dried up turkey (server apologised) ham fatty and no beef. Veg and potatoes soggy and just leftover from early in the day . So greasy and cold . All got left . I am a member at the village gym and always come for spa day and and lunch with my friends as i love it here at Hull village. I decided to book a meal for my dad's birthday last Sunday for 6 of us as a supirse for him and what a supirse we had. We ordered 4 roast dinners and 1 child main and 1 main off the normal menu. My fathers meal and sons meal came out 35 mins before our roast dinners which we was not happy about as by the time they arrived my father had finished his dinner. When the carvery came we asked for all of them on plates and got them all on woodern boards. 3 beef dinners came out and my nephews dinner roast turkey didn't...
