"NEW TO THE AREA !!! PADDOCK WOOD !!! Have just moved to the area last week so myself and a friend decided to pop into Paddock Wood the local town , bought a coffee from Costa and had a wander around , all looked lovely , then saw THE VILLAGE CAFE on the corner so we thought we would pop in for a Breakfast and a drink , as we walked in the forest thing that was said to us was “you can’t drink that in here” we both looked at each other and the owner proceeded to say “we aren’t an advert for Costa” I can honestly say I have never found someone so rude and his son was behind the counter laughing !!! There wasn’t one customer inside so no wonder they don’t have many customers , absolutely horrendous customer service from what seems to be a family run Cafe , the son then proceeded to follow us out of the cafe and as we left the door slammed and then shouted at us across the street !!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!"

this is the best caffe in the opposite by far. beautiful and clean, great menu with veggie, vegan and diet options. amazing fry up, great prices and the dame that serves there is really nice. good honest place to go to when they are from paddock wood or just go through. great job, georges! Use to go to this cafe quite a lot. Food is OK to be fair, but staff friendliness and how welcome you are made to feel is the worst I've experienced. Went here after a long motobike ride to grab some breakfast a few months back, was told I am taking up too much space on my own table and if I wanted to order I would have to share a table with a lady coughing her guts up and smelling like stale cigerettes. There was a dozen spare tables, I declined and left never to have returned again. They dont take card and 100% tax dodgers. Avoid this cafe, its run by scummos. HMRC should 100% investigate.

this is a fantastic local caffe that serves a great selection of meals, breakfast and lunches and offers decent vegetarian and vegan options. service is excellent, timely and very friendly. I usually go to the breakfast here as it is a clear winner for the best frey in the city. waaaay better than the clearly average caffe at the corner near the station, the ingredients are much better quality and cooked much better, and the prices are much more worth- they even contain broth items in the breakfast price that they pay separately for at the other place that is so stingey. if they want a good price for a really fair price, they go here! if I should criticize something, then it is sometimes tha...
