Versilia - Menu

they have very good offers for lunch. eating was good as the service. nothing to complain about (except the puppies that have disturbed us) ground and good place with good value for money.

if you are in thuringia and you like to taste Italian food there are only two places: michelangelo in Eisenach and Versilia in Jena. I like very much the fettucine with parmisan. Also bruschetta is generous and nice.

Sono stato diverse volte in questo ristorante. quasi tutte le volte ho mangiato benissimo e velocemente. Spesa giusta e ottima scelta di pietanze e vini. Talvolta e' possibile che ci siano fuori menu con prodotti arrivati direttamente dalla campania.In generale Ottimo.

This is a nice pizzareia run by some very friendly Italian folks in Wagnergasse. The menu has a HUGE selection of pizzas and pastas as well as some fine desserts. They have a open kitchen layout with a stone oven, so the pizza is really...good. The prices are also pretty decent for the good quality food.

here with friends, as it looked good, in a road full (from previous experiences) of reasonable but not great places. to my joy they had fresh hard fish with a beautiful sauce and perfectly cooked. no overfall so often and surprisingly, so far from the sea. good also worth and right Italian antipasti anche

As an American, the first thing you learn about service here, is it is relaxed . That being said, at Versilia it was almost non existent. When our waiter brought drinks for most of our table, we thought he would be back with the rest. Wrong....He stood at the bar, had a shot, joked with fellow employees and returned only to serve us the wrong food. It was not very good food. There are other great places to eat on the same street that have better food,better service, and better prices.

The first few times I walked by Versilia, I was scared to go in, because I thought it was going to be out of my budget. It is actually at the low end of the middle range for Jena. Pizzas, made in their imported pizza...oven, run about €6-11. Pasta also runs about €6-11. Everything is made fresh and tastes fresh, too. Four points instead of five because the Italian service personnel sometimes has a really difficult time with German, and also because there is occasionally a very Italian mentality towards service (reservations have been lost, the person manning the pizza oven forgot to pop in some of the pizzas, so food didn't all come out at the same time, etc. .
