Very pleasant meal, peaceful elegant surrounding , good food and service.

Decor and atmosphere is amazing. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, fish and chips followed by passion fruit and mango cheesecake and chocolate fondant. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.

We were given 1 menu when the table next to us got to see both menus we were staying at the hotel) we asked if vegetables could be altered were told they’d ask. Eventually the meal was delivered without a word said with the original vegetables only my friend wanted hers changed from rocket salad to peas, hardly difficult). No one came near us so we could ask. It wasn’t busy and only about 8 tables in use but although the table next to us was being given good service later on guy on table pointed out he is friends with the manager) felt strongly that we were being ignored. Actual food was ok. Gin drink instead of in usual gin glass was served in the straight kind of glass that you’d drink

I also found the service to be charming and friendly. The prices are fair for the generous portion sizes and high-quality food, which is consistently well-prepared. Additionally, our meals arrived quickly, and they were happy to serve us refreshing water with ice. One minor detail to note: be sure not to forget to validate your parking ticket, as it’s required to get a discount. They kindly provided me with details on how to do this when I returned to the parking area. Aside from all the positives, I appreciated that the tables are spaced out in the spacious dining room, and the comfortable chairs and carpets help keep the noise levels low, allowing for private conversations—a rarity these...
