The pasta was not cooked properly, the pasta was supposed to stay 5 minutes more on boiling water to be gran duro. It tasted like raw pasta.

Big fan of Vapiano since for ever, but if this was the first time I came, I probably never return. Pizza was much smaller as ususal, chef at the pasta was pushing for extra's without mentioning that they had to be paid. (that said, the food tasted as good as usual) Machines where you can order pasta (never seen them before) did not work. Staff at the bar was incompetent (They coudn't figure out how to make gin tonic).If you want a good one, visit the one at Kudamm.

We tend to go to Vapiano as we know they do gluten free pasta and risottos. The food is of good quality at a decent price. the one thing that lets it down is the way you have to order food. The food is prepared in front of you but if your party want both pizza and pasta you have to queue in different areas. If you are a large party you will most probably not be eating at the same time as the meals are all prepared two at a time. It's a difficult system if you are a party with many children as someone has to look after the children at the table whilst the other one queues. And if you are unlucky to be in the queue behind someone ordering for 10 people you can end up waiting a LOOOONG time. An...

While shopping in Alexanderplatz, we needed lunch, and ventured into the Vapiano restaurant. On entry, we were given a card which was to be presented for loading when we ordered our meal. There were different counters for rissoto, salads,pasta, or pizza and lasagne. There was also alcohol available. The system was to queue in front of the appropriate counter, order your meal, take a mobile phone with number provided, have your card loaded with payment due, then go back and sit down to wait for your phone to buzz when your meal was ready. Not being a fluent German speaker, I felt very nervous when ordering my meal, and had to ask if the young man behind the counter spoke English, which he did... Voir le carte
