Great place for lunch. Nice concept. Large variety of dishes and gluten free dishes. Pasta, pizza etc. Suitable for children.

Great concept, loved the freshness of all we ordered over two nights. Reasonable prices and wide variety of menu items. Although part of a chain. You don't feel like you are.

We came here for our last meal of our holiday and we were expecting it to be better than it was. There was a long queue for the pizza because there's only one station to get it. After ordering, there was a long wait before the pizza was cooked. In the time it took to order and wait for the pizza, you're able to order a pasta dish and almost finish it. Don't even want to give a 1! The restaurant set up is like a school cafeteria and just a mess of a system. We sat down, there was no drinks menus so we just decided to go queue for food but there was no order to it whatsoever. People were everywhere. Then we saw the lasagne someone had and it literally looked like a ready meal, even in the little black plastic boxes. That was it for us, we left straight away and didn't even order anything.

We went to this restaurant twice because I thought the food was so delicious. Unfortunately they don't serve at the table but you have to stand in line to order your food. I wanted risotto the first time and my boyfriend wanted the pizza, which meant we had to wait in different queues and our food wasn't done at the same time. He got his pizza when my risotto was already finished. It was very good tho, especially the risotto with gambas, and not too expensive. I do recommend this restaurant but try to go when it's less busy (definitely don't go on a saturday night after eight o'clock).

We tend to go to Vapiano as we know they do gluten free pasta and risottos. The food is of good quality at a decent price. the one thing that lets it down is the way you have to order food. The food is prepared in front of you but if your party want both pizza and pasta you have to queue in different areas. If you are a large party you will most probably not be eating at the same time as the meals are all prepared two at a time. It's a difficult system if you are a party with many children as someone has to look after the children at the table whilst the other one queues. And if you are unlucky to be in the queue behind someone ordering for 10 people you can end up waiting a LOOOONG time. An... Voir le carte

We have dined many times at VaPiano, and kind of like the concept. But never have I seen such a disorganized place. Okay, you get in line for lets say pizza. Suddenly all service stops. Nobody is doing anything, just walking around, talking, waiting - for no reason. I thought maybe the pizza oven is full. But no - they took out 5-6 pizzas, stuck them on a plate and then - nothing. after about 15 minutes they were served, and 2 people came back to complain about cold pizza. Just to find that the guy did not speak english or german...Finally got to order, 35 minutes later. Same guy. No english, no german. I ordered two pizzas, he said "No pasta". I said "pizza! While shopping in Alexanderplatz, we needed lunch, and ventured into the Vapiano restaurant. On entry, we were given a card which was to be presented for loading when we ordered our meal. There were different counters for rissoto, salads,pasta, or pizza and lasagne. There was also alcohol available. The system was to queue in front of the appropriate counter, order your meal, take a mobile phone with number provided, have your card loaded with payment due, then go back and sit down to wait for your phone to buzz when your meal was ready. Not being a fluent German speaker, I felt very nervous when ordering my meal, and had to ask if the young man behind the counter spoke English, which he did...

We visited Vapiano Berlin last year were we enjoyed a great meal and so on our latest holiday back to this vibrant city we couldn't wait to revisit here again. This is a novel but sometimes weird concept to ordering your meals by choosing your meals from a scan card handed to you ,it's sometimes extremely frustrating as waiting for a meal can take an age.On our latest visit to Vapiano we were allowed to go straight to the bar area were we ordered Krombacher beer as we had just ate so no long queues for us,a shame really as I really enjoy the food especially the pizza options.The beer was outstanding and it was just so nice being in such a wonderful restaurant enjoying a refreshing beer and p...
