"We used to live nearby some 15 years ago and ate at Un Posto at least weekly. Since moving away we have returned at least once a year to enjoy the food and see the Tartaglia Family. On this occasion we arrived fairly promptly on a Friday evening. It was almost empty and food was being prepared. It is not hugely pretentious but the service and choices have improved as time has gone on. We had some sparkling water while awaiting the arrival of the Executive Chef, Guiseppe. We waited no more than a quarter of an hour before he arrived and asked what we would like. Knowing how good the food is and, as we don 't have any strong dislikes, we allowed him to propose some food. We started with a few pieces of fresh-made pizza followed by some excellent wild salmon that had been partially cured and was served with extra virgin oil and a selection of herbs and spices. Next we had some baked cod with vegetables (broccoli romana, chicoria and roast peppers and spinach). We then moved on to some tripe Roman-style and then meat balls and suppli (rice balls with cheese and deep fried). Then there was the platter of charcuterie and cheeses with pizza bianco and chutney. We were too full to try the desserts or even for coffee. The Restaurant was getting more busy as the evening progressed. It serves slices of pizza to take away and one can also get portions of all the dishes to eat at home. There 's a good range of wines, beers and soft drinks. There 's no card machine but the prices are very competitive so that 's not a great concern. The food is prepared and cooked on-site. The quality is excellent and there 's always plenty of choice of in-season food to be had. It 's not on a busy road and it 's usually possible to park nearby. We 're going back next week before we depart for home and we 'll be back next year too."
