"We ate here on the first night of our holiday and so glad we did. We ate early (6.45pm) and it filled up quite quickly after 7pm. The range of tapas options was great, with different food styles and flavours from around the world. We ordered 6 dishes, no bread, with the intention of having dessert, but we were too full. Never mind what we had was delicious! The wine by the glass was also very good. £80 total, including tip."

"Absolute shambles from start to finish! Told there would be a 45 min wait for cooked food, so opted for a cream tea. The waitress couldn’t seem to work out that we only one scone each and a cup of tea each. Got 2 scones, one knife on a board and a tea for one. Told her we wanted 2 teas oh you’ve only paid for one. Ok well add another on please! I could pay for that at the end. We were sitting outside as no space inside. Attacked by a swarm of wasps. Couldn’t stay there. I looked around, there was a big tent behind that noone had mentioned to us moved all our stuff in about 3 trips. Turns out it was no better! Had to give up on the scones with the infestation of wasps. Left . Went to pay for the tea. Told them how we felt. Not so much as a sorry, offer of not paying for the tea. Offer of help to help us move disaster from start to finish!"

"we went here on Saturday evening (party of 4,) as we regularly visit the sister restaurant are the winking prawn, which is beautiful. our waitress was very nice, but eating was literally terrible. we ordered halloumi while we read the menu that it was not possible. raw halloumi swim in extremely strong garlic oil. they took the bill when we didn't touch it. starter: mush were full of grit and minuscule. they were clearly not fresh. prawns were cooked and tasteless. bands were nice crochets were good. netz: 2 krabbensalate (one with a pfeffer allergy that we have told the waitress were not listed on the menu, but we have mentioned it anyway) the person with the pfeffer allergy was served an salat with pfeffer. jrk huh: was good. just a piece of **** with something tear, can't do much wrong. scallops prawns absolutely eat the worst I ever had in devon and almost 20 pfund. the garnels were so over cooked that I could not peel them. also the skalopps were overcooked. the meal was just terrible. we mentioned all this to the manager when we went to pay (about £100 for pleasure to eat this) and his attitude was quite literally “good what they want me to do about it?” I never complain. I never write reviews. but that was the hands down, the worst meal I've ever eaten in a restaurant, and it's a big shame as it could be beautiful."

"that was our first Sunday dinner since we got vegan two years ago. we never thought that we would offer somewhere locally this option. we were able to order the spiced butternut soup with salvia and truffle oil for appetizers, which was simply beautiful and exactly the correct portion size. we were pleasantly surprised to have two vegan main options on the day, although only one was on the menu. we had one of each and shared them to try both. vegan haggis wellington and mushroom suet pudding, with all circumcisions. the cook was friendly enough to make a vegan gravy and yorkshire puddings. the veg is done in the rule in butter, so we simply without. the pieces are absolutely huge. they had a plastered pear that they could make vegan without the cream fraise, but we didn't have the room!"
