"I had heard great things about the authenticity of Turkish cuisine and had been meaning to try it for a while, having lived in Turkey for several years. The meze was both beautiful and fresh. Unfortunately, our main course arrived before we had finished the meze, which was a bit of a nuisance. The lamb shish was small and overcooked, but my wife's special chicken dish was delicious. It was nice that we could bring our own wine and were not charged a corkage fee, but overall the atmosphere felt more like a café than a restaurant. We left feeling disappointed and do not plan on returning, as there are better Turkish restaurants in the city center."

I visited this restaurant for the first time about a year ago when it initially opened and have returned multiple times since then.

We tried Kunefe, a popular dessert in Turkey, but unfortunately it was of very poor quality. The dessert was extremely dry and badly cooked.

I had a fantastic time at this restaurant. The food and service were both outstanding. It was my first time dining there, but I will definitely be returning. If you're in search of halal cuisine, this is the perfect spot for you.

The Donner served at this restaurant has a special recipe that perfectly captures the flavor of authentic Turkish cuisine. It was so tasty that we will definitely be coming back for more. This place is truly incredible. I have tried to find a similar taste in Leeds, London, and Liverpool, but now there's no need to go far to enjoy it.

My family and I recently dined at this restaurant and were thoroughly impressed by the warm and attentive staff. The food was absolutely delicious, unlike anything I have ever had in the UK. It brought me back to the vibrant flavors of Istanbul. The server who took our order was exceptionally kind and hospitable. We will definitely be coming back with our family as we all loved the food and ambiance of the restaurant. Thank you for the wonderful service. Voir le carte

My husband (Turkish) and I visited Turkish Kitchen today after seeing their Facebook page. There were plenty of authentic Turkish dishes on the menu my husband had mercimek çorba to start and we both had Tekirdağ köfte for mains. The food was well seasoned with good portion sizes and beautifully presented. Having lived in Turkey for the past 5 years I can vouch that this is the most enjoyable Turkish meal we’ve had since returning to the UK. Staff were welcoming and hospitable and the restaurant had lovely decor. We’d definitely recommend and look to return again in the future.

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."
