Tres Amigos - Menu

Sadly the kitchen just closed on my visit, so I had to just have a drink. It has a smoking area around the bar, which I found strange.

Die Lage gleich beim Bahnhof ist gut. Das Personal war freundlich und lustig drauf. Das Essen kam sehr schnell,leider war es nicht sooooooo lecker eher etwas trocken.

Waren zum Mittagessen dort. Man sitzt bei schönem Wetter draussen unter viel Grün, merkt gar nicht, dass man direkt am hektischen Bahnhofplatz ist. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war lecker.

Das Essen wurde schnell serviert, Bedienung war freundlich.Zur Zeit gibt es alle Fajitas für 25.-.Mein Fleisch (Rindfleisch) war etwas zäh, der Eisbergsalat nicht mehr so ganz frisch. Insgesamt war das Essen nichts Spezielles, man wurde aber satt.Das Ambiente vom Restaurant lädt nicht wirklich zum Verweilen ein, für ein Mittagessen aber völlig in Ordnung.

Das Tres Amigos ist im Alten Bahnhofsbuffet von Chur untergebracht. Der Gosse Saal wurde mit mexikanischen Souvenirs dekoriert. Die Speisekarte wird dem Gast als großes Brett serviert. Das Angebot Speisen ist groß. Insgesamt wird eine bunte Bandbreite von gegrilltem und gebratenem angeboten.Das Essen ist OK aber nicht besonders hervorzuheben.Der Service ist freundlich.In der durch eine Glasscheibe abgetrennten Bar kann man rauchen.

Ich war länger nicht mehr im Lokal. Es ist sehr schön gelegen. Im altehrwürdigen Bahnhofrestaurant von Chur. Leider ist die Lokalität etwas laut wenn es ziemlich viel Leute hat. Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist gross. Das Essen war ebenfalls gut. Der Service war sehr freundlich und es hatte auch genügend Personal vorhanden. Vielleicht etwas zu viel und das schlägt sich dann auf den Preis nieder. Denn diese waren im Gegensatz zu den Portionen doch etwas hoch.

Nice menu with all that you´d expect at a Mexican restaurant, plus spearate lunch menu and one for ice cream floats. Sat in the nice garden terrace out front, the restaurant is located next to the train station but here that means central (not seedy like in some cities) and convenient. The interior looked very nice, not cheesy, regular tables for dining and some higher tables for drinks and snacks - can very well imagine it to have a very good atmosphere in the evenings. Great service, warm and friendly. Food was good and prices are reasonable.

The location is ideal if you are waiting for a train connection or to just hang out to watch people as they go out or enter the train station nearby. Tres Amigos attracts an eclectic clientele, from young to the young at heart... the Spanish music and the spice in the food gives this place zest. While I waited for my train connection, the staff helped me charge my IPad. . I started with guacamole, chips and beer, two hours later, I ordered a dish with strips of meat, served on a clay pan. Four hours later, I was ready for my overnight train ride to Budapest from Chur, Switzerland

I spent a couple of nights in Chur on a trip to Switzerland and we ate here the first night we arrived. It was convenient to local transportation and we thought it would be fun to try Mexican food in Switzerland. I had CANASTA CON...POLLO Y PIÑA grilled chicken in a tortilla bowl with lettuce, pineapple, and salsa. The food was excellently prepared and delicious. I was surprised at how full I was after eating what appeared to be a rather small portion. The service was good, considering how full the restaurant was. The only negative comment is that the dish cost CH 23 which seems very expensive for this meal. This restaurant serves Mexican food unlike anything I have ever eaten in the States.
