"My husband and I ate here on our second to last night on our week and a half in Germany. It was hands down our best meal we had while in the country. We started with the venison carpaccio, which was incredible. It came with...very lightly cooked mushrooms of several varieties and delicious fresh greens. Everything about it was perfect, with a wonderful mix of textures and flavors. I got wild boar steaks, which were delectable! Again, the flavors just worked wonderfully together. My husband loved his meal too, although the menu was in German and we 're not quite sure what it was other than it had venison! But whatever it was, he loved it. : We were pretty full but ended up going for dessert anyway, once we saw the dessert menu. They have a wonderful selection of ice cream creations, and I had an almond magic one, which was indeed magical. My husband had chocolate souffle, which was cooked to perfection, and came with ice cream as well. Everything we had was great, and the service was quick and friendly. I 'd highly recommend this restaurant!"

"Sehr schönes Lokal, nur sehr sehr laut und die Mitarbeiter schreien erstens durch die komplette Küche sowie den ganzen tresen der direkt vor unserem Tisch war und das erhöhte den Lärm Pegel extrem leider. Unserem Tisch (5 Personen wurde bei den Getränken am Anfang Ouzo ohne zu fragen ausgeteilt (bei 3 minderjährigen und 15 jährigen, was offensichtlich war, die dabei waren hätte dies ohne nachfragen des Alters eindeutig nicht seid dürfen !!! . Alkohol an Minderjährige auszuschenken ohne nachzufragen ein totales No-Go. Die Vorspeise von mir kam sehr schnell und war super lecker 10 von 10. Hauptspeise bei mir selbst war ne 9 von 10, da beim Spies bissel wenig Gewürz dran war und sehr zäh und trocken, der Rest war super zart und saftig. Bei einer Freundin war das Gyros mit den Spaghetti leider sehr Geschmacks neutral und zäh. Die anderen 3 Gerichte waren im guten Durchschnitt. Leider wurde beim einpacken des restlichen Essens dieses auch mit in die Küche genommen was von dem Hygienevorschriften eigentlich seit einiger Zeit auch nicht mehr erlaubt ist. Nach einer Nachspeise Karte haben wir 3 mal gefragt insgesamt . Beim Bezahlen hat man eine Person abgerechnet. Dann ist die Bedienung wieder gegangen, die anderen mussten dann extra nochmals fragen fürs zahlen anstatt man es alles auf einmal gemacht hätte."

"We celebrated our wedding in the remise and that was the best decision we could make! The day, the location, the ambience and also the organization in advance was completely perfect. The service staff has done an excellent and professional job including clean-up service) and the food was 1A. Through Corona we have postponed our celebration once and we have been very much met in this regard and we have also felt very well with regard to the hygiene concept). The team has tried to make everything possible and support us and was very flexible due to the constantly changing regulations ... from plan B to plan C). We felt comfortable and recommend the celebration in the domain to 100%. Our guests were also delighted. Thanks to the Lacher family and the team! We wish you all the best and hope that they will come well through this difficult time."

"After a longer hike, we returned to the Weiherstube in Hechingen with a healthy hunger and really enjoyed the delicious food. Day before we even reserved a table)...But it was the total waste.The operation is a pure catastrophe, I had not experienced anything yet in any other restaurant.Invisible unfriendly and persistently stressed lady, who always serves everything alone and prepares drinks! It was screamed all the time through the restaurant. So cheeky and quite undamaged ....So a behavior is not part of the gastronomy life.We were kicked out in front of all other people, because the lady did not want to get the current Corona regulations that currently exist! Very pity.Have test and everything that belongs to current rules! Bzw, which belongs to 2G rules, corresponds to completely vaccinated persons or genesis with a subsequent vaccination last successful single vaccination is min. 14 days and max. 3 months back). What I experienced late, even in my social environment say that all, the hospitality in Weiherstube Hechingen is written very small.Leider, I looked at the reviews at Google only late, I was not the only one that was not satisfied with the service.We were unfortunately absolutely disappointed by the entire visit and can unfortunately so not recommend the Weiherstube in Hechingen. The service in a restaurant is a sequence of actions by staff from meeting with a guest to leaving the restaurant. These include behaviour patterns, communication features, even mimics and gestures. "We arrived in town around 20:00 and did not have a dinner reservation. We called about 5 different restaurants and they were fully booked. We saw Pitta Pan and thought “why not?“ We were surprised how big the restaurant is once you enter. From the street, it looked quite small. We ordered the typical gyros and they were tasty and did the job. The restaurant is very casual but if you are looking for quicky, tasty food without all the bells and whistle, then this is a good choice."
