"I've not rated the food or the atmosphere as we didn't get that far. We made the effort yesterday to visit the restaurant to check it would be ok/appropriate if we brought our 3 month old baby and that we would have room for a pram for her to sleep. As we are conscious that this isn't always easy etc. We were told this would be fine and my wife even showed the pram so there was an idea of size therefore we knew which table was planned for us. My Dad turned up first and was allocated a different table when we arrived we were told that the original table now had a table of 6, and that our pram wouldn't be able to go where the new table was which was an important reason for going in the day before to check. This was very frustrating given we had made the effort to check. The person we spoke to blamed their colleague but was not sorry in any manner whatsoever. Im not sure we even got any apology. The colleague came out to try and help but basically there were no options available. We therefore had to leave and find somewhere else.....in the rain. Whilst we try and spend our money at independent local businesses, we opted for Gusto where we had a very friendly welcome and great service. It's a shame, because we were looking for somewhere to be a nice local independent Italian for us to go to. But we won't be bothering in the future"

Good authentic Italian food. Very busy went we went but service was still ok. The card machine was not working so we needed to pay cash. absolutely brilliant. for a larger group booked at short notice. delicious eating, generous portions, service was good without waiting for courses or drinks. the only thing was that we couldn't get through on the phone, so we went around 17 o'clock for a table of 6 o'clock. but once could not blame it! definitely recommend.
