Trattoria Amici - Carte

"The Trattoria Amici is housed in the southern Frankfurter Westend in a decorative corner house. Around the entrance area you can sit outside in beautiful weather. Today a few tables are covered, but because of the cool weather they are unoccupied. I also prefer to go up the few steps in the temperature. The guest room in the form of a hose with a small entrance in the rear part is completely held in dark wood. On top of the powerful counter and on other shelves the usual wine bottle decoration. A continuous bank runs along the wall. The tables are extremely close to us are covered with red carved tablecloths, cutlery, paper napkins water glasses and salt shakers. If someone wants to get up from the bank, then first the table has to be moved to the side to such an extent that you get through at all and that doesn't just apply to beary characters like me privacy when talking at the table is not possible. And it's not too detrimental to my mood when I get the relationship problems of my table neighbours to be told involuntarily all night. This gives clear deduction and for the really nice ambience, only 2.5 stars remain. Service: The two gentlemen responsible for the service had a good grip on their shop tonight. They seemed to have organized and divided the works well, because there was no waiting time despite raining public transport. There was a friendly relaxed atmosphere. When I enter the restaurant I am greeted and get the two currently free tables to choose from. When I took a seat after the back of the table, the question of an aperitif comes out, which I like to answer with a bitterrino. The card will be taken very quickly and shortly afterwards my Bitterino, which is here exactly a San Bitter 0.1l 3, €. The Lord in Service makes his thing quite good. He's always nice and accommodating. It always desires a good appetite and the demand for everything was fine when clearing. He then asks about criticisms and I have to pass on them correctly, whether they come then I don't know. When paying there is a proper bill and also the adoption is appropriate. Only criticisms: An apology for the Bruscetta would have been nice, not only to take note. And when paying, I don't like it when the waiter stays right. I feel a little crowded. I think it's better if the waiter, after taking the bill to the table, leaves me alone for 1 2 minutes. Nevertheless, I tend to be 4 stars rather than 3.5. Map: There is a standard map that is identical for all three Amici branches, as well as a hand-written map with daily recommendations. On the standard menu you will find the typical classics of pizza, pasta, salads, meat and fish. The daily recommendations 2x fish, 1x meat, 1x vegetarian were all combined with asparagus and moved around the 15 € for the fish dishes as well as the vegetarian variant and was around 27 € for the beef fillet. I chose the Bruscetta 3,50 € from the standard card as an appetizer and the grilled salmon with asparagus risotto and lemon butter 15,90 € from the daily recommendations. In addition, a small mineral water rarer €0.25l 2.50 and a glass of house wine according to the invoice Cahrdonnay €0.2l 4.20 , which was found to be quite drinkable. The food: before, that is, almost at the same time with the Bruscetta there was a basket of 2 small pizza rolls. Also a small plate with olive oil and a balsamico trail. The bread was not worth mentioning. Lightly dry, salt poor and relatively tasteless. The oil with the Balsamico was OK, with some Fleur de Sel it would have been better. Bruscetta The Bruscetta consisted of 3 slices of oil roasted bread with the usual tomato edition. The tomatoes were beautifully tasted and refined with some parsley. The bread was very oily and roasted extremely long at presumably low temperature. This was not particularly dark, but extremely hard. I was able to split the first two pieces with knives and fork at the third piece and I finally gave up and only ate the tomato edition. Salmon with asparagus and lemon butter Optisch made the plate that came to me at the table a quite good figure. Upstairs, on a bed of Risotto lay a neat piece of salmon. The lemon butter was in the form of a small cam on the edge. There was a little finely cut radicchio and a little rocket as ornament. The salmon came to the table, including skin. Therefore, the grey-brown layer was also present directly under the skin. The good thing was that both skin and the tranny part located underneath could easily be removed. The upper half of the salmon was optimally cooked, lightly glazed and beautifully delicate. The fish got a little dry down. He probably stayed a little too long with the main up in the pan. The risotto was optimal in cooking grade, and also quite well tasted, a little too little acid, but this could easily be corrected with the lemon butter. A little shot of more liquid would have done the whole thing well. So it was a bit too dry. The contained asparagus I guess about 1 bar was slightly bite-resistant and in turn gave a nice aroma to the risotto. The mentioned lemon butter was also excellent. I would have liked to have a little more. Finally, I ordered an espresso, which was beautifully strong and aromatic, but unfortunately also only lukewarm. I would have liked to judge the main court with 4 stars. The lukewarm espresso that I just count for the kitchen performance, the better pizza rolls, but above all the granite-like Bruscetta, let me go down to 3 stars in total. Cleanliness: Everything I've seen was completely fine The toilets were not visited 4 star price performance ratio: It was not too expensive for Frankfurt relations. I think I can forgive 4 stars. Conclusion: I would probably give the kitchen a second chance. I had the feeling there was a lot more in it. However, the constriction found already scares me very much. Maybe if it gets warmer again and you might have a little more space outside."
