"during the Christmas Market , when temperatures were around 35 F ( cold ) we were looking for Cafe to sit down and have some Coffee and a piece of cake. The Cafe suggested to us was further away, so we ended up here, it's located right at City Hall, very convenient to the Market Place. The decor of the restaurant is " rustic " , the place is clean, had lovely Christmas decorations, good , friendly , efficient SERVICE.. we enjoyed our Coffee / Cake on this cold late afternoon to warm us up. Go and visit."

"my boyfriend and i stayed in town for 3 nights whilst attending German MotoGp at sachsenring. After eating at the hotel om first night then wandering into town we discovered this amazing little restaurant. We decided to eat here the following evening and was not disappointed. The food was excellent, generous portions and great price, so much so we ate there again the following evening. Next door they also have a takeaway pizza entrance where they are all baked in traditional stone oven."

"Absolutely recommended! Well visited host house with changing map. Very cozy ambience, attentive and friendly staff and the dishes incredibly delicious and very beautifully decorated! Fills Thüringer Klöße absolutely taste! You want to taste the whole menu, so tempting the dishes sound. If I ever get back from Munich to Schlema, a return is planned. I will tell you that despite all the difficulties in gastronomy, you can continue your large inn in this quality!"

"We started our Sunday with 6 adults and 5 children in the cones. Here we were nicely supplied with drinks. However, someone could have explained the technique of the bowling alley a little better. We were only given a guide, which was not really helpful. But is also the only critical point of our entire stay in the bowling alley. Being was a lot of fun and we had 2 lanes for us. Then we ate in the restaurant for dinner. The owners pay great attention to seasonal food and regional suppliers. It has also been noted that all dishes were freshly prepared and that the kitchen team has made a lot of effort. We have eaten (evaluation in brackets: fried chicken breast fillet with oysters (a breeding mushroom and white wine sauce, cocktail tomatoes and a “Nest” of green noodles (was very tasty, large portion and balanced seasoning). Rabbit roast on sour cream bacon sauce with semmel butter swung rose cabbage and potato strudel (For rabbits amazingly much meat on the plate, also a very tasty dish. Braumeisterschnitzel from pig with cheese ham filling and black breadboard, there are black roots and fries (was a bit dry, here you miss a sauce. Filled roasts from the knight's green saddle pig (with fennel cracker, with sour wort and homemade green lumps (an absolute taste experience. I haven't eaten such a fine and tasty dish for 10 years. The clubs were also top. Egg cake with sweet filling: apricot jam and chocolate sauce (here we asked applesa instead of jam. Unfortunately there was only the applesauce, the strange filling and chocolate sauce was still present. Not like that. Who came to the mix? No experiments with children's courts. Colorful noodles with ham cream sauce and ruby cheese (the noodles were not colorful, but regular spaghetti. That's something the young lady has disappointed, but otherwise it was delicious. Appropriate portion, which was still not eaten. Small chicken carving with mixed vegetables and fries (cooks and fries were popular and tasty. But what did you think about the vegetables? That was sour pickled vegetables? At least it tasted like that. On a children's plate, it's nix to look. All in all, we felt very comfortable. The service was also very nice and welcoming in the restaurant. When one of our children announced that the portion was a little bit small (an appetizer had ordered itself as a main dish, the waitress brought an additional snack, which was then not on the bill. Also on our arrival we received a delicious greeting from the kitchen, which was also not calculated."
