"I wouldn't usually write a review about my breakfast, but the owner asked me write one. Three of us had an excellent breakfast, including one vegetarian breakfast, and a free sausage for our dog. We wondered why the establishment was devoid of customers, and it...turned out that they were closed because the internet was down. This meant that they couldn't use the till. Luckily for us, the owners agreed to serve us if we paid cash. All three of us and our dog were well looked after, but rather bizarrely, the owner turned everyone else away. We probably saw 30 people turned away whilst we were having our scrummy food. I am unsure why they couldn't offer cash payment to everyone else. I would rate the quality of the food 5 out of 5, but the whole experience was a bit odd. The owner kindly explained that they were short of staff, and the reasons why, but I still can't get my head around why they decided to close."

Wrong order, smothered in oil and grease. Stroppy young staff not happy when request for help. Too much effort for them to do their job.

we visited on Saturday afternoon. we wanted a chocolate milk shaker, but they had lost what is understandable in a hot day. but the other available aromen did not taste well. we had a white chicolote and a mint milkshake. Generally, it was just okay to complain northing about cheap expensive food.

Really enjoyed our visit with family last week. The goats cheese and red pepper quiche was clearly homemade and delicious. Time was taken to warm it gradually rather than just sticking it in the microwave, therefore the thin pasty had a great bite. Served with...a fresh salad and a little balsamic….well I could have eaten the whole thing again! Other dishes we enjoyed were the sausage baguette and eggs Benedict. Clean plates all round. Overall would recommend.

this place is desperately confused. they were not in a position to make a lot of dingen on the menu pancake, milk shakes reduced to two flavors it was apparently stressful to make a pancake? but they made them for older people. purple later. Hair...was in the food of the eierbetedict, which was regrettable when that seems to be the only court that they were confident enough to make? the 4?Endlessice smoothing were as watered as the service. disturbing that there is no attempt to change. Hope for Eternal

Dreadful food, quality and service The service was very poor. We ordered scrambled egg on toast and poached egg on toast. Each cost £7.99. When it arrived I should have sent it back really. Scrambled egg looked grey, dry and microwave cooked. It was a...tiny portion with two bits of toast ! The poached eggs turned out to be the similar just one overcooked egg on slice toast. Just terrible quality for the money. No condiments were offered and food just was awful. Next door to this cafe where they offer a full freshly cooked breakfast for similar money. I know where I stop next time’.

Wish I had read other reviews before visiting. The food was very poor quality for money and service poor. I paid £22 for two breakfasts which usually I’d be happy to pay but here it was awful. We eat out regularly and rarely leave bad...reviews … but I will never come back here again I will vote with my feet! Looking at other reviews people have left the cafes response comments confirm how poor it is and how little value or listen to their customers feedback. Such a shame and was reflected in the cafe being quiet where as Teddy’s next door was totally packed. Maybe they should try a breakfast there to realise the standard and competition they have.

We ordered our food drinks, they got 2/3 coffees right, the other one didn’t even turn up for 20mins, some food came out to our table but was not even our order, then they brought 1/2 of 1 order out with another plate, that...also wasn’t ours, the 3rd plate came out 30mins later and was right, then the other plate turned up and was finally correct after telling them yet again what I had ordered, finally the 2nd piece of toast turned up for the 1st plate! To say it was a bit o a shambles is an understatement, def avoid this place if there is more than 1 other person inside as they will get your order wrong, quite a few people actually walked out whilst we where there as well!

the service was, at best, ok. my main attack was the non-transparent pricing. I know that the caffes have to cover all their outlets (salare, bait bill, etc.), but I buried almost £19 for a tee, coffee, rührei on toast and a poached. I'm on toast. neither was something special. in the did the politic eggs were more like hard cooked eggs. all this could have been overlooked if the owner was a little more receptive to the feedback. we couldn't complain then when the young girls didn't really talk there and I didn't want to upset them. I have a balanced courtesy Google review and received a sarcastic response. fully understand hospitable had a hard drive, but they also have to be mindful that p...

"Whilst wondering this lovely little town, we wondered what we should grab to eat. We thought we would play it safe by going to a non-commercial but traditional Italian restaurant. However, whilst the menu may feel like you’re sitting in Italy, there is nothing safe...about the quality of this food! I should first of all acknowledge just how receptive and warming they were to the fact that we had two infants who were part of our party. They did everything they can to make sure that they were smiling as much as we were, and able to squeeze in our buggy and luggage accordingly. The food though was absolutely delicious. The folded garlic and cheese balls to start were absolutely delicious, and oozing of salty chewiness. However both of the monk fish main courses that came out were absolutely outstanding, with very fleshy and generously portion size pieces of fish. The veal Milanese was perfectly crispy and moist in the middle. The infant size pizza was generous portion size. All of it was cooked fresh and served warm. The only thing which frustrated me was the lack of wine options that you can order by the glass. I do understand why restaurants don’t make all of their wines available, but as the only one drinking I would have liked more than just a Pino for white wine options. But this isn’t a restaurant for alcohol, this is a restaurant for well cooked food for all occasions. If I am in the area again I would easily eat here"
