"We arrived before 6pm on a Friday evening. First we were greeted with an over-friendly and very loud 'Buona sera'. Then we were asked if we had reserved. When we said no, it only went downhill from there. Us was the husband, our 2,5 year old and me. As we arrived in Kochel a few hours before, we decided spontaneously to eat there. I am used to making reservations in Munich restaurants weeks in advance (which takes out all spontaneity and fun of an evening for me), but we're talking Kochel am See here, a very sleepy town in the alpine upland, pre-season!We were seated outside on their terrace, feeling lucky that it had an awning attached as it was pouring down with rain.The service was extremly slow and the food was really just about mediocre. We had their mushroom risotto and pizza hawaii. Both dishes were pretty tasteless and the pizza was very dry."

"Also in this typical Bavarian inn I was with a small group of travellers who had previously visited the Schlehdorf monastery. A relatively large house where a total of about 300 people have space, including the terrace and the beer garden. Parking was easy on the private parking lot, which is also suitable for large buses. We stayed there in an afternoon and enjoyed the homemade cake. The kitchen offers regional and Mediterranean dishes, including a children's card for the little ones. The staff were extremely friendly, the ordered came in the beer garden, where we had made it comfortable, quickly on the table, the restaurant area is barrier-free, as I have all 5 for it!"

"We had reserved and were then led to our table on time. The ambience is very beautiful, everything is minimalist decorated. The wood is reflected in the walls, on the floor and on the decorations that provide a rural flair. The service was quick and friendly. Everything was very clean. The food was brought quickly and was very delicious. The kitchen offers French classics next to Bavarian home cooking. The portions were perfectly matched, nothing was too much or too little. A clear recommendation from me, if you get to Kochel am See, to eat in this wonderful room."

"We get there for a lunch. We came on the way home from Munich. We ordered one schlemmerpfanne and a porksteak. The food was fantastic, what unfortunately I can not say about the service.The older Lady who served us,was unfriendly and slovenly. She had a strong smell of tobacco. In despite of we will reccommend this place because of the food. Maybe next time we will have a better fortune with the service."

"Nachdem wir den ganzen Tag wandern waren, es mittlerweile kalt und dunkel geworden ist, sind wir durch Zufall in dem kleinen Restaurant Bergblick gelandet. Der heimelige kleine Gastraum, der eine gelungene Mischung aus alt und neu ist, die freundliche Bedienung und ein Zither-Spieler haben uns einen wunderschönen Abend beschert! Wohnzimmeratmosphäre, fast schon intim, zum wohlfühlen. Zu Essen haben wir Spinatknödel bestellt, die den außergewöhnlichen Abend perfekt abgerundet haben."
