"We called in here for lunch today and what started off for us as perfect, great service and lovely food quickly escalated into my brother coming down ill early into the mains. Nothing to do with the food i might hasten to add. The staff at Kinmel were outstanding, especially H and the tall slim young lad (sorry we didn't catch your name) who looked after my brother with such compassion. We ended up taking him to A&E and thankfully he got sorted. We will return someday soon and are so appreciative of the staff of the Kinmel Arms for all they did. You can see why the reviews folk have left so reflect the superb service and quality of food served up here."

"A nice pub on our first visit to North Wales. The hostess is a laid back. Very kind and happy to talk to us and make our time comfortable. The pub is located on the main road that is easy to find. Drinks are cheap as weatherspoons without the abysmal quality. One snooker table and two dart boards are fun to play and they advertise free snooker on Thursday's. I give full 5 stars instead of four for the outstanding service given by the hostess. She is a very cool person to meet and can make you smile. My friend was being miserable on the day and had improved by the end of time at the pub. I recommend it when visiting."

"As we approached the establishment, I was apprehensive about what I might find within, however, much to my delight, I was astonished to find a classy restaurant inside which gave off such a welcoming aroma and vibe, this put me at ease instantaneously. We were greeted by a friendly, smartly dressed host who sat us quickly, to my great shame I was not able to catch the name of our host, so I am not able to give him full credit. The tables were all neatly laid and from the windows you could see great views for miles. The menu was stacked full of intriguing foods which caught the eye, however, I eventually settled on the chicken burger, our waiter was most understanding in me asking to remove the cucumber pickles from the burger and our order was taken very quickly. The food arrived in very good time; the chicken burger was definitely a top 5 burgers of all time in my books so needless to say I was very pleased. Having discussed my friend's food with them at length as well I can confirm we all were caught off-guard by the continuous quality of the dishes served. Throughout this whole experience the staff remained friendly and catered to all our needs, which I was and am most appreciative of. i will actively look at recommending this classy institution to friends and family alike as it would be selfish to keep a gem like this to myself. "A lovely pub in Wales, a warm, friendly welcome on arrival from the waitress and landlord. There is a good range of traditional ales and bitters ,and a good range of lagers available, I settled for a pint of guiness which was well poured and tasted delicious. The menu has a good range of starters on offer and a good selection of traditional pub grub ,and a small selection of sweets. There is also a small specials board available. We settled on the lamb shank with mash potatoes and a selection of vegetables, the chicken curry with rice chips, and naan bread and a burger and chips they were all delicious and well presented ,we all left with full bellies .highly recommended 10/10 Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options available Kid-friendliness: The child's menu is available"

"We have visited this cafe several times previously it 's fine, average food, service and atmosphere and as there is a lack of options for casual eating out in the local town it has always served as a satisfactory option. Twice in the past month we have attempted to visit (myself, my mum and my toddler) and have been turned away at the door by an over zelous owner who, through a sickly grin, delighted in telling us fully booked I 'm afraid! In front of the entire cafe despite multiple empty tables. I find it hard to believe that in a quiet town on a rainy Thursday afternoon the cafe is fully booked. We felt we were turned away as we had my daughter with us, who is nearly two and extremely well behaved but wasnt given a chance to even set foot in the cafe. There are no signs stating children aren 't welcome but I can 't think of another reason we weren 't allowed in as the place was practically empty. Had they given another reason kitchen 's closed etc, we would have understood but felt embarrassed and humiliated on the doorstep for the second time in a month. Absolutely appalling! I cannot believe we were treated like this and that this gatekeeper of a cafe owner is judging potential customers the moment they set foot in his cafe. Disgusting, discriminatory behaviour. We won 't be visiting again. May your regulars be enough to keep your business going, eh?"
