We recently made an unplanned stop in our motorhome and were fortunate to stay here. The landlord was incredibly accommodating and managed to fit us in for Sunday lunch, which was outstanding—definitely a solid 10/10. It's a charming country pub that welcomes dogs and has excellent staff. Overall, I would rate the rooms, service, and location all at 5 stars!

Had lunch here. First time visit. Could the lady with bright orange dress be so unwelcoming. Almost rude. We said a friendly hello twice before she responded Our lunch was fine but next table had green ion bread which was sent back Orange dress then sitting with lady with a young child in bar area we said goodbye.. Nothing Hospitality. Wow. Dead. Other lady serving was perfectly nice. Step up owners. Service: 3

I could not recommend the swan enough. Me and two friends stayed here over the weekend, the owners went above and beyond for extra dietary requirements, local information and the evening meal food was to die for! (Highly recommend the chicken with creamy mushroom sauce . I rarely leave reviews negative or positive but this had to be reviewed! Lovely quiet location with tidy gardens (and dog friendly too! **Rooms:** I was very impressed; they were clean and modern. **Nearby Activities:** It's a lovely little village with some fantastic houses. **Safety:** I felt very safe here. **Food & Drinks:** The food was excellent, and the restaurant wasn’t too busy. **Noteworthy Details:** The staff was incredibly friendly, and it seemed like nothing was too much trouble for the owner and his daughter. Visited with friends last night and tonight as we're staying nearby in our caravan. Super little village pub. Landlord and lady very friendly, and hard working as are the staff we met. Very quick service, food excellent, piping hot and good portion sizes so thanks to the Kitchen staff too. Nice to see a village pub with a bit of buzz. Really wanted to sample Sunday lunch but sadly we have to go home. Well worth a visit and been perfect to have on our doorstep this last 2 nights. Will definitely come back again.

Food drinks: Called in without a booking. Was surprised when we were asked if we'd booked when the pub was almost empty? Soon became clear. Filled up in no time but the landlord squeezed us in. The food was excellent. The best chicken liver pate starter we've ever had, literally amazing. Wife had lasagna and I had steak pie. Both were excellent. Service prompt and very friendly. Cannot believe I've lived less than 3 miles away for 24 years and never visited. What a mistake that was. Great ub with excellent food. Voir le carte
