We had a dinner meal and the price per person ranged from £50 to £60. We rated the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5. "Not at all surprised by the high reviews here. We were a group of 8 on a Thursday evening and all agreed this was the best Indian restaurant experience in memory. The food stood out for its quality and variety as did the cheerful and friendly attentive service. They even happily adjusted the garlic rice dish to my preference (something approaching garlic with rice! Some places just get it right and Thrishna certainly did, to the point that my wife and I are returning tonight, just 2 days later, despite the 50 minute journey from Hereford."

"I have awarded 4 stars not because of food and service but because parking near to the restaurant is difficult , step flight of stairs leading upto the restaurant and doubtful wheelchair access. Restaurant has an excellent view over the river , is austere in design but nice tables and chairs with plenty of room . In nice weather enjoyable to sit out on the balcony. Bar service. Service good , cheerful, efficient and polite. Excellent selection of tapas which meant that the 4 of us were able to chose dishes to suit ourselves . I enjoyed the mushrooms and beef the best but the lamb koftas and salad were also liked by the others. Liked the way the tapas dishes were timed to arrive as you ate your way through the meal."

"Went to watch Nigel Kennedy at Malvern theatre, so we stayed overnight at the Swan. It is a beautiful, historic place in a small village. We got there early, but that proved no problem as the staff told us we would be able to access the room straight away. The pub has everything you need, great ales and lagers, plus some very good food. We tried a fillet steak and cod, and they were very good. The bedroom was a reasonable size with everything we needed and a comfortable bed. Overall I recommend anyone to have a stay at this place, the only fault I can point out would be, they did tell us before we left to the concert that the bar would be open until 10.30, we did rush back and managed to get there for 10.25 unfortunately they'd shut, I can only presume that they'd got no customers after all it was 7th November. But definitely worth a stay. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5"

"My wife and I have three children and get out to dinner about three times per year. So when we go out a good experience is so important for us. The food at the Boathouse is really good. Perfectly cooked dishes using lovely ingredients and just the right amount of food per racion. Other features that really made our night were: We had a really excellent waitress, she was attentive but not pushy and we felt like she really cared about her job. She knew about the food too. Boathouse have spread out their tables upstairs so that you aren’t packed in and can have an intimate dining experience, not feeling squeezed up against other couples. So it almost feels like private dining. We have eaten Tapas all over the country and have only eaten better food once in a very expensive place in Fulham, London. Go to Boathouse, you won’t regret it. We will be back to the more informal downstairs cafe with our children very soon."
