"This is my first visit. On the positives.. ..nice childtens play area and good parking facilities. The standard of food was ok, as in acceptable, but compared to other places locally, not really up to standard. The burger however wasn't good and aside from.being well and truly overcooked beyond well done, it was tough and the bun was hard. Prcing, while acceptable, does not match the quality offered by other competing local pubs. So based on this the food is a little overpriced. Ambience did nothing. Felt a little run down and in need of a lift. It was better to sit. outdoors which feared better. The staff member who served me was a little bit rude, which left a bad initial impression. She was pleasant enough during mid service, but frankly speaking she should not be serving with that attitude. Its completely unnecessary.and unprofessional. In contrast the server within the annexe cafe was very friendly and welcoming. One of the remaining plus points to the whole experience. All in all i cant rate this place any higher than a 2 star and unlikely to return based on this experience."

Food good, but not outstanding. Staff very accommodating, playground area good, plenty of parking. Outside tables plentiful, nice surroundings. Very kid friendly.

Food looked really good, but I was having a few beers with a mate of mine. Serve some good beers and Ales at reasonable prices. Garden at rear and front. There is a separate kids play area at the back as well.

This is a hidden gem! We stumbled across it and had an AMAZING meal here. The food was incredible so tasty and very high quality. They get their fish in fresh and you can really taste that. Huge portions, great value for money. Would recommend 10 out of 10.

I went along for a Sunday roast during the eat out to help out a couple of years ago. An amazing meal, quite a plate full they were surprised that there was nothing left!! I went again last Friday for fish chips sat outside in one of the cabins which was very comfortable cosy. A delicious meal very decent portion.

Lovely pub and such friendly staff. The pub seating areas is so lovely, plenty of seating and some really lovely furniture. Particularly liked the sofa and arms chairs, they are gorgeous. Lovely quotes on the walls too. We only popped in for a couple of drinks but from what we saw of the menus there is a good selection of foods and reasonably priced. There is a cafe on-site too which is a bonus. A great play areas for the kids and plenty of parking too. We will definitely be going back.

Driven past it loads of times bur never knew it was there. Its set back slightly from the road and accessed by a small road leading to a housing close. There is a car park to the rear and entrance to the rear garden area. There is a small children's play area and an area of outdoor seating, some of which is covered. We went inside for lunch. There was a really good food selection and a specials board in addition to the main menu. I had liver and bacon which came with onion gravy, mash, and a selection of vegetables.
