Food was good but lacking for calorie contious people. Found quite expensive too but expect it's this expensive in the area.

Nice place, goo atmosphere and decent food for a pub. Good choice of beers and wines and you can happily sit there 'till late.

Had a marvellous evening celebrating my friends 40th birthday at The Village Pub. Service was great especially Dan. Highly recommend for a great evening

My husband and I frequently visit this pub for a quick drink and snacks. Excellent service and atmosphere, children are also allowed here which is a big plus for us!

I ordered the steak cooked medium, but it came out not cooked to my liking. They forgot all of the side dishes. The staff did not check on the food at all. It was a waste of time. I left a Stella beer behind when I walked out. Overall, it was a bad experience.

We had booked a table online at the Italian restaurant at the hotel however on arriving we were told that the Italian was closed for refurbishment. They offered us a table in the Victory pub. The place was noisy and sport was on the telly. The lighting in the “pub restaurant” was poor. In reality this is a pub that serves food rather than a restaurant and if you come here see it as such and it is not a restaurant experience. The service was good and quick so no fault there. I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant bar during a busy Friday lunchtime. There were only two bar staff, who were described as "miserable," causing long wait times and confusion as one of them kept disappearing. The bar had no system in place, leading to people being served out of order and items not being available. The coffee machine was also not working. With only two waiting staff to bring out food, it resulted in total chaos. Despite receiving our starter, we did not get our main course and had to leave hungry as we were due back at work.
