"I visited with my wife and sons whilst we were on holiday in North Devon on our way back to our overnight stay in Highbridge. We enjoyed our time in Minehead walking on the beach and looking around the train station and depot, but the weather was appalling with rain and cold. This cafe was a great find with a lovely bacon and sausage bap for me, bacon and egg for my wife, two proper mugs of tea and my son enjoyed his shortbread. It had a great welcoming atmosphere and the staff also helped us with a highchair for my younger son. I would definitely visit again"

On Minehead station have a lovely cup of Devon tea while watching the steam locks go about their work

We called for tea and cakes in the afternoon, the place is spotlessly clean, light and airy, the cakes which appear home made were devine .

This restaurant is particularly enjoyable for fans of steam railways. I had a delicious pastie, lemon drizzle cake, and a cup of coffee. The meal was good value for the price.

I visited the cafe after a late night working and really needed a hearty English breakfast to help me recover. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the location next to the West Somerset Railway was an added bonus.
