"We had a lovely meal, but the staff were what made it! Lauren, so helpfully, brought a fan nearby our table because I was very warm. Ben was great; very personable and engaging. The whole team were great genuine, helpful and friendly with us. They definitely made the experience! The food was really nice, the tartar sauce is spectacular! I even asked for a portion, though I wasn't having fish! I would confidently recommend The Traveller's Rest to anyone! Thank you to you all, for making our celebration very special!"

I met my brother and mother-in-law for lunch with our teenage children for lunch. It was cosy, had a lovely garden at the back and the dish I chose was delicious.

The salmon was amazing . Great choices for vegetarians too. Food was delicious, service was amazing, all in all a great lunch and we'll return again. Highly recommend.

Awesome pub. Just a drink, lunch or dinner you will be served professionally, friendly and promptly. I would recommend this very quaint little inn to anyone. Dog walkers are welcome in the garden weather permitting. This is England lol.

my son had his 18th birthday meal here and it was fabulous. there were 20 of us and we all had different meal times and all the meal times that we were beautiful nothing too much annoyed. very friendly staff would recommend this beautiful place in any case.

lovely place, nicely decorated with friendly helpful staff! Tried my first ever pork pie? it was nice! Sangria was lovely make sure you dont do a me and smash the glass though! Also don't try to walk into the kitchen after you use the bathroom... its not a good look
