The Swan - Carte

of us all had a fabulous meal, on Saturday evening. The Swan food and service were as they always have been in my experience, outstanding.

The food is absolutely amazing particularly if you like fish. We like the bar area but there is also a more formal restaurant. Great value for money with friendly service. Highly recommend the bouillabaisse.

one of the best country pubs. most of the local country pubs' have closed, but the swann inn is just too good to lose a very well established country pub, excellent service, good food, parking, one of the locals who has not closed

we came as a family group for the Mother's Day, the atmosphere was relaxed, but attentive and friendly, everyone enjoyed it very much. the food was excellent, very tasty and beautifully presented. we had a lot of done and no one was disappointed, there was also a great choice of beautiful deserts.

our friend rick grew up in the gentle hills of high peak and had a great little recommendation for us the swan inn, kettleshulme. he has been coming to this sweet little pub for years and wanted us to try out the honest dug and the cozy atmosphere that makes the place so popular with locals. when rick was a child, he thought that was a teller with worms. it is not very large at all, two small rooms with kink-racks and beautiful old furniture. it was packed into the rafter on this Sunday lunchtime, but they were just able to press our table of ten! the menu in the Voir le carte

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary with a dinner and overnight stay at The Swan Inn. The food was incredible, offering a fine dining experience in a cozy pub setting. Although we were too full to indulge in a dessert, both the bouillabaise and my wife's steak were cooked to perfection. The staff were all welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. We enjoyed a comfortable night in one of their three well-appointed rooms and started the morning with a delicious full English breakfast before departing. We are looking forward to returning for another visit in the future.

This restaurant is on the pricier side for pub food, but it offers a high-end dining experience in a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. After an unsuccessful search for a meal in Whaley Bridge, we stumbled upon this gem on our way back to Manchester. We were pleased to find that they were still serving food in the afternoon. I ordered the whole plaice cooked on the bone with tenderstem broccoli, shrimp and caper butter sauce, and chips, while my wife chose the guinea-fowl with pomme purée, mixed vegetables, and mushroom and brandy sauce. My plaice was cooked perfectly, with tender and flavorful flesh and a delicious char on the broccoli. However, the real star of the show was my wife's guine...

the swan is a family owner free house and has a quite small parking lot that gets very quickly full, as its very popular pub. if the parking lot is full, there are limited street parking on the hill on the road. the pub is...from three areas, the dining room, the bar area and the copper room and the booking is recommended. the bierkeller was renovated and there were no real ales in the offer. there were no white zinfandel or no premium lag. the pub was clean and well presented and there were many employees who were all friendly and very efficient. the menu was very small with only one vegetarian option. there were no chicken options and the main choice was fish or red meat. the food was cook...
