"Having used to work in Whalley I'm pretty familiar with the Swan. We went in Friday lunch time about 1:15. 4 ladies in. What beers have you on please, asked I. Got told the lagers on. We've no beers on cause they only went on last night. We ordered the salmon pasta f,c ps! Not sparkling I'm afraid. 4 ladies left. 8-10 thirsty looking lads came in, hung around, left. An older lady came in. A couple came in, waited left. The place wasn't quite warm enough. The staff seemed well meant. £35 is a lot to pay for something not really enjoyed. The payment for parking arrangements are ambivalent. My wife paid £2 unnecessarily. We were told it was nothing to do with the pub. Bit short sighted? Don't think we'll be rushing back! Shame really."

Quiet drinks had here. Clientele ok but better places for drinks in whalley. Decent selection of drinks to be had.

The beer garden is fantastic, with friendly staff and excellent pints of Moretti. The food is also good. Overall, a great place to enjoy a drink.

I only stayed for the one night, as I was just passing through. Ample free parking at the back of the hotel. The staff are very friendly with a welcoming smile. My room was very neat and clean with lovely decor. The breakfast was substantial and again served with a smile. Voir le carte

We visited the Swan Hotel over the weekend and stayed for the night in one of the hotel rooms, the room was lovely, the bed was comfy and breakfast was amazing. The Swan is right in the middle of whalley so its great for exploring We dined in the restaurant and found the food was brilliant and really good value for money we will certainly be returning for another visit very soon

Visited this pub/hotel last Saturday and was very unimpressed, the owner “Sharon” could not stop swearing, when I approached her to ask if she would not mind keeping the bad language quiet I was amazed with the foul mouthed rant that followed offended wasn’t enough of a discription. Beer was flat, food tasteless, toilets were filthy with clear evidence of cocaine use. Best advice is avoid at all costs.

Absolutely terrible. The table hadn 't been cleaned in goodness knows how long so much so my arms were sticking to it. Food arrived and was diabolical. The side salad consisted of lettuce and nothing else. An order of Hunters Chicken described on the menu as having streaky bacon and peas came with the fattiest piece of back bacon and no peas just some of the unappetizing lettuce slapped on the side. Avoid at all costs if you want some semblance of value for money !!!! Voir le carte

This Sunday roast was the worst I have ever had. The beef was tough and tasted like it had been cooked in a bag. The mashed potatoes were dry and dense, making them hard to swallow. Even the small amount of gravy couldn't improve the meal. The carrots and broccoli were overcooked, and the only redeeming factor was the roast potatoes. I do not recommend this place for a Sunday roast. The person I was with ordered pesto spaghetti with pine nuts, but there were no pine nuts to be found.

We visited the swan over the Easter weekend and found the staff lovely. We were here with family and had a few drinks and we all ate. We found the food lovely and the staff were pleasant and friendly. They were very busy when we arrived however they explained to us that tables were reserved but we were able to sit at them until the other people arrived. We had 4 adult meals and 2 children's meals and they were delicious, the children loved the ice cream sundaes and we really enjoyed our food, we had burgers and sausage and mash. we will definitely be visiting again when we are next in the area.

"I wasn't at blueberries with my friends since before covid so it was great to kick through the door and see how busy it is, fortunately I had a table for lunch. there is nothing special vegan on the menu, but they try to place their very hardest, in contrast to some places. I love a jacket kartoffel and choose her beats with various items from the menu, so ordered frying and avocado. katherine, one of the owners and cook came on our table and said she could suggest some other dishes and also vegan cheese if I did not the jacket kartoffel, but if I still did how about the topping of sonbs. what a nice geste and I will visit her on her offer of other options at the next. I noticed that they were able to offer vegan options for their Christmas card and also had two vegan, frozen meals to take away, moussaka and chili. my friends ordered a chicken and specksalat and a fish and chips and both said that eating was delicious with a mention that the chips were the best. my kartoffel was huge, with a lot of topping, served with beautiful salat and quickly grinded. the food is made fresh to order and blueberries is very popular as full it was on a cold Wednesday afternoon. there is also a small marquee on the side of the blueberries, which for those who are brave and sitting the weather and of course adds extra space. I really can't knock blueberries, they may not have vegan options (although a cake would be nice and I need to ask if they have plant milk as I always have my own. but they will always try to eat rusty something satisfying and with announcing can something like a vegan hotpot that I had before, what was brilliant."
