Food is great portion size big, staff lovely it's well worth the taxi ride for us. You can tell how popular it is by how busy it gets at meal times

We had a 60th Wedding Anniversary surprise party here. Staff are fabulous. Easy access carpark at the rear of the building too. We had a space all to ourselves too.

had eaten and a drink and both were really good in terms of price and quality. I ordered SFC burgers that cooked well, but not overhauled as it can happen with homemade SFC/KFC recipes. the personal is also super polite. Voir le carte

I was very impressed by my first visit in this facility. very friendly and efficient service, very cheap prices. excellent portions and nothing was too much annoyed. will certainly return and would not hesitate to recommend a visit here.

eating was delicious, had a lot to try from yourself a carvery, all homemade foods that I love like to die like the hand cut chips, personal are really friendly, the decoration is very old style pub that I love and music is in an acceptable volume, so they have a decent talk, I will definitely visit again, and would recommend a visit from everyone

I visited this pub for the first time on April 28, 2022, to celebrate my birthday with my family, hoping to try something new. The mushroom starter was delightful, but unfortunately, the rest of the food was quite disappointing. The Coke was flat, and the Americano coffee was the strongest I’ve ever had. Very mediocre food and service. I had heard a lot of good reviews from friends about this place, but have to say i was dissapointed with food and the coffee i had was terrible. The only positive remark we had about the visit was that the garlic mushrooms starter was delicious. I would have rather went to Whetherspoons. I don't often leave less than good reviews, but feel this place warrants it.

My friend ordered a roast dinner, which turned out to be bland and lacking seasoning. The Yorkshire pudding he received was also rock hard; he needed a steak knife just to cut into it. Service was inconsistent; one staff member at the bar really needs to pay more attention to get orders right. However, the waitresses were fantastic. As for the chefs, they either need to be let go or properly trained in cooking.

I had a relaxing lunch that was truly enjoyable. Thank you! It’s always a pleasure to meet friends here, and each visit feels welcoming. Last week, I met a friend for lunch to celebrate my birthday. I had the gammon, which was both delicious and generous in size, and it came with the option of pineapple or egg. I ordered a side salad and a baked potato, and both were fluffy and fresh – nothing was too much trouble for the staff. My friend chose the roast of the day sandwich, served with salad and chunky chips, and she absolutely loved it. We enjoyed some gins outside, which added to the charm of the day.
