They happily served us when we arrived at just before 2 for lunch. When asked about gluten free, dairy free they quickly offered to make me fish and chips. These were the best I have eaten since becoming gf 15 years ago. Thank you Voir le carte

The inn is very old and traditional, with a very welcoming atmosphere and generous portions. The only downside was that it was quite chilly in the room and especially the bathroom. However, I plan to visit again in the summer. Thanks to the hosts.

This cozy pub in a charming village serves Sunday roast lunches that are better left to homemade cooking. The large portion of overcooked, flavorless vegetables served with the topside of beef was lacking seasoning and not at all rare as advertised.

Booked for a family christening and the landlords Steve, Nicky and the team couldn’t be more accommodating and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The food was lovely and the service was fantastic. The wife and I (and our dog) briefly stopped at this beautiful place on Sunday to get a coffee and a HUGE plate of cheesy chips. For our first visit, I cannot be more complimentary about the welcome we received ....... good coffee and food ..... and great reception. Smiling, friendly, welcoming customer service is not very often encountered nowadays. Definitely will return. Well done and Thank you!

Somewhat underwhelming experience at this restaurant. The temperature in the room, particularly the bathroom, was too cold. The plug didn't fit the sink properly, causing water to drain. The bedding felt chilly and stuffy. The hosts were friendly and the place was clean, but overall lacking warmth. It was necessary to wear a coat while eating dinner. If these issues were addressed, the experience could be pleasant, but currently I wouldn't recommend it. The food was tasty, although the breakfast didn't quite meet expectations.

Food was okay, chips are always tasty! Although the burger looked good it wasn’t the nicest. Staff were great but the landlord hasn’t got very good customer skills and comes off as unfriendly unless he likes/knows you. Have been on a couple of separate occasions to just have a drink and when it gets to 9:30pm he makes you feel as though you’re not wanted, huffing and puffing around the place. Also makes you feel rushed and as though he’s got better things to be doing. Seen both the landlord and landlady hanging out the back door vaping which to me is very unprofessional! Voir le carte
