My family and I had an excellent Sunday lunch at this restaurant! It was clear that the venue is very popular as it was quite crowded. Booking a table in advance is necessary, and we had to wait a bit before our table was ready, but the food was definitely worth it. I had a delicious scotch egg with curried mayo as a starter, followed by a tasty lamb shank.

The Stag is a fantastic choice for a Sunday roast! It's in a great location, perfect for after a leisurely walk through Hampstead Heath. The beef roast is a must-try, I'd give it a 10/10. They have a great selection of beers and IPAs as well. The service can be a bit slow, but it's a good option for a winter Sunday. Prices are around £30 per person. Just a heads up - make sure to bring your own mint sauce as they tend to run out.
