Best pasty that we had when we stayed st Ives for New Year’s Eve the vegan traditional was brilliant

This shop is quite good for a quick bite to eat. The staff are friendly and the food is nice.Can be a bit pricey, though.

Always a pleasant experience when I order my Caramel Latte, nice and clean environment with friendly staff. Recommended trying their home-made Flapjack nom nom

Disappointing visit , CBLT bacon was missing but plenty of under cooked rind in the sandwich , Crab sandwich had too much shell in it became inedible ...Seagulls enjoyed them !!!

Disgusted. Ordered the brie and cranberry panini, sign said it would have mozzarella to but this is what I got. Already walked away to 'enjoy ' so couldn 't be bothered going back. They weren 't even busy so don 't understand the lack of service

We had breakfast and coffee here. The vegan toastie was tasty and the bacon sandwich was fine too. The food is reasonably priced. The coffee was nice too. We found the service was fast, thought the street wasn't that busy at the time. They have a small seating area out the front.

Ordered Waffle with cream strawberries and chocolate unfortunately undercooked and soggy waffle size half of my hand cream was just can cream not whipped and chocolate half melted )covered 90% of this waffle making very dense, unless this is Cornish waffle which has nothing to do with the Belgian one this was worst I ever had

This was a terrible experience, and ruined the beginning of our day in an otherwise beautiful spot.Service by the senior staff member (who has been mentioned unfavourably in several other on line reviews got to be the owner) was disgraceful, disrepectful.Our card was charged 362 for a coffee! After being served by someone who seemed to resent our custom and is clearly working in the wrong industry!We fortunately checked our receipt, while waiting for the coffee. The money was refunded sent to our card..with no apology, no warmth.Shocking! ..and to top it all the coffee was dreadful!

Bought two ‘Cornish Pastys’ from here yesterday 2nd September 2021. Walked away to Porthgwidden Beach to eat them. The vegetables in the pasty were not cooked through and we’re almost crispy yet the steak WAS cooked and tender. This would suggest that the pasty is NOT a traditional ‘Cornish Pasty’ which should have the meat and the vegetables cooked inside the pastry case together. The meat was precooked and added with the raw vegetables and then baked, obviously not long enough! As they were not enjoyable with the undercooked veg we stopped eating them and returned. My goodness, the staff were so rude, arguing with us that the pasty’s were cooked okay. As if anyone would walk back and retur...
