The food is always great and the service is really friendly so why would we eat anywhere else? It has a real pub feel about it with locals dropping in for a drink so has a lovely atmosphere. Following a friend's wedding where the food was exceptional, have now visited the Spread Eagle for a steak night on a Tuesday (excellent) and lunch with friends in the garden on a weekday. Will certainly go again.

Table of 14 for Sunday lunch. Food and service excellent. We chose the Spread Eagle specifically for the children's playground. We had six small children and it made such a difference to our enjoyment. We will be back.

My two friends and I went on weds night. We haven't stopped talking about it since. Beautiful home cooked food. Fresh and lovely and hot. Staff were very polite and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely atmosphere. In fact we did not want to leave. We will definitely be back SOON.

we went for Lunch on Sunday, luckily we booked as it soon filled up! I had the Blue Cheese Burger and I have to say it was an amazing burger it really was something else! to start I had Scallops and Black Pudding Wow..! really good too. Traditional Sunday lunch looked great and the kids were well catered for. We are looking forward to our next visit!

I've only just moved to Liss with my girlfriend and this is the first pub we visited. We had no idea what to expect but we're glad we visited. The food was amazing! I can't remember the last pub we visited that had us going on about how nice the food was during the meal and still going on about it on the car journey home! The staff were all really friendly and helpful too! We will be back!
