"Ate here on a Tuesday evening as a party of four at 7pm. At this time of the week, the restaurant was relatively quiet (maybe 12 15 tables in use). Service was prompt and attentive. Food was excellent and a sensible portion size. We ended up with empty plates unlike some Turkish restaurants which can serve too much rice and salad. I had the Mixed lamb from the grill and all three of my portions of lamb (chop, lamb shish and Adana Kofte) were excellent and served with rice and salad for £27 Small basket of breads and dips were complimentary whilst waiting for the main courses. Desserts were typically £7 £9 and coffees about £4. Neither were particularly large. Drinks were relatively expensive £3.50 for a small coke; £3 for a spring water; The hosts are also keep to offer you the opportunity for a drink in the bar before the meal. I was surprised at how many other guests were drinking cocktails as these were not cheap either, Be aware a 12.5% Service Charge is added to your bill. Would happily return for a special occasion rather than an ad hoc meal at these prices."

very good eating, probably best swipe they can have, but the prices are a bit too "london price" especially as it is in brentwood. drinks lasted too long (especially for a quiet Sunday) received food before drinks. but the free brot and the dives are 10/10, we stop getting more order. a place to go for a large family meal.

We had a great time at Mesken in Hutton for our Christmas work do! As always the food, service atmosphere was exceptional! Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff there. From ease of booking to service on the night everything was perfect! We are regulars here and highly recommend for larger functions, get together with friends or indeed date night!

A wonderful experience at the Mesken. Mercy, on front desk was attentive and professional at all times. She made our party special. Staff were friendly and the food was delicious. The bar staff were very knowledgable on their drinks, nothing was too much effort. Love this restaurant. The servers couldn't be any better, nor could the food both taste and presentation. Great restaurant all round even the authentic decor. Very popular which is a good sign. Lovely garden for the good weather too. Mid week you can use the lunch menu 2 courses for £16.90 very good value for such a lovely restaurant and still a great deal of choice. Caters well with vegetarians. Second visit and look forward to returning.

Had the most wonderful night, from the moment we walked in and was shown to our table by the lovely lady, very attentive and lovely staff throughout. Food was delicious. Bubbles flowed so well. The whole atmosphere was amazingly vibrant. We proceeded to the bar after our meal and was site at a lovely table, listening to a brilliant singer who certainly got the crowd happy. Thank you for a lovely experience as always. We look forward returning back.
