"Visited here nearly 3 weeks ago, given them time to resolve my complaint......i 'm still waiting! Visited with 2 friends for some food and beer after a local event. We ordered our food and after chasing the food up after about 35 minutes, my meal turned up. The BBQ beef burger turned up as simple single cheese burger, should have been a double burger. No onion rings as advertised and some chips. Due to being hungry, i eat it. My 2 friends were not so fortunate , after an hour we demanded our money back. Then as we were getting up to leave their meals turned up which we refused. I sent a complaint to head office and the following day i received an apology from The Six Templars manager, stating they only had one person in the kitchen, hence the delays. Why was we not told this when we ordered? A dreadful experience could have been avoided. I did receive a voucher for two free meals (but not drinks) to be used only at The Six Templars which is useless to me and my friends, as we like in Kent and Surrey, and to travel to Hertford would cost more than the vouchers are worth. Dreadful service. Avoid at all cost!"

I just want to thank the staff today who changed my food for me ,when I rushed to order before 12.00. Very nice about it ,although they were very busy,and I noticed some people leave food all over the floor. Many thanks.

It is usually quite busy and sometimes noisy. The bar staff are nice and helpful. The food is hit and miss. Sometimes it is delicious but quite a few times it is quite cold and you have to wait a while for it to be delivered Voir le carte

Just been served a pint just over three quarters full, asked for it to be topped up and the person behind the bar said how do I know that you haven 't taken a slurp out of it . In over 40 years of drinking no-one has ever accused me of being a lying thief before (at least not on first sight).

The restaurant is a typical 'Spoons but with a pleasant beer garden and a lively atmosphere. I ordered the vegan burger, which has become a favorite of mine. I was excited to try it with some vegan mayo that I had recently purchased. The burger also came with a drink, all for less than ten pounds.

I absolutely adore this Wetherspoons location. I regularly bring my grandfather here on Saturdays and always feel very comfortable. The food is consistent with other Wetherspoons locations - inexpensive but delicious, and just as expected. The 5-star hygiene rating is reassuring. My only wish is that this specific Wetherspoons would introduce ramen to their menu, like the rest of the UK. Voir le carte

Good service, cheap drinks, and food. Can get food with a soft drink or a pint included for additional £1. The smoking area is available to the rear, with no smoking seating at the front of the pub (front of the pub is on a busy road. The pub has men/female toilets outside, which also serve the public as well as paying customers. On my visit (outside toilet), there was clearly a water leak somewhere as the floor was flooded.

Affordable and good menu choices. On January 10th, 2022, I tried two orders of the Quorn nuggets with sweet chilli sauce. On February 16th, 2023, I sampled the new vegan option for Veganuary 2023, the katsu chicken curry, which is essentially the Quorn nuggets smothered in their curry sauce served with rice. I really liked it. On May 11th, 2023, I had the vegan breakfast and found it to be value for money. My opinion has been updated from my previous review on April 11th, 2023.
