The food was lovely and reasonably priced, portion sizes were reasonable too and would definitely recommend leaving room for the Bougatsa. Service with a smile...kind of, definitely with banter though! We had a nice evening and would come back the next time we're in the area."

My Mum loved the experience sitting on the carriage, a must for train lovers The food was really nice and I imagine it will be lovely in the summer too

We recieved a friendly welcome and great service. The atmosphere was relaxing and charming. We were served delicious food and left feeling refreshed and happy.

A return to a very beloved restaurant. We sat in the railcar for our mixed meat and vegetables mezes. For dessert and coffee we sat outside as the weather was amazing and it is a real sun trap

we were greeted at the arrival and looked around during our stay. the food was cooked to order and really pleasant with the ambiente of the trains that rush past every few minutes. to visit another.

our first time in hotel the sidings and would recommend a visit especially if their train enthusiasts. also the evening meal was excellent with a very efficient service and staff that really tried to make them welcome.

I was really impressed by the sidings the decor of train pictures and the little bits of history everywhere it was lovely. The staff were very attentive and the food was excellent I will definitely be going again next time I’m in York

Lovely restaurant and staff, as always. Been 4x now. It was nice to meet the chef also. The food was superb.. A good environment and service. Stayed over in one of the cabins, breakfast was lovely. Fresh coffee and a nice chilled atmosphere. Will return in the future.
