The Second Wife - Carte

I visit the new look second wife on regular basis and the pizzas are very tasty, freshly made and the price is good too. I would recommend to friends and family.

Stay away from this disgusting Restaurant in Pondicherry Promenade area. visited twice and both times terribly disappointed with pathetic food and staff.Worst stale idlis, rock hard rasamalai.Vosit this place at ur peril!!!

Firstly the hospitality was fantastic here. Seating was cosy a bit cold however the staff tried there best to heat up the place. Food was good as well, just the cold room got everything cold quick. Prices were very good also. Voir le carte

Visited the second wife for full English breakfast, prices are reasonable, the food was super and the portion size was great. Service was top notch and efficient ‍ Loved the chai latte The guy heard this and gave a complimentary chai latte which was very kind and thoughtful! Been a few times now, as location is convenient and I must admit the service has been acceptable when met with the possibly the owner. However, on a few occasions I have been served by the younger male member who has been rude several time, but the last time was the worse and I decided not to go back. By far the worst customer service experienced !!

Little Italy has made its way to East London, bringing with it a lovely breakfast spot that has recently been renovated to include stone-baked pizza. I recently visited and tried the beef and seafood pizzas, both of which were excellent and served with a fresh salad. The pizza chef even added caviar on top of my slice as a special touch. The decor is elegant and the restaurant is clean and tidy, with seating available downstairs for families and a rear Moroccan garden for the summer. I ended my evening with a delicious coffee latte and red velvet cake. Highly recommended. Voir le carte

I frequent The Second Wife regularly, especially when I have guests to take out. The halal full english breakfast never disappoints! The quality of the sausages and beef bacon is far better than anything I 've had elsewhere and mushrooms are cooked to perfection (not soggy like other places). Overall, the food is excellent and the prices are fantastic value for money.I 've also had the stone-baked pizzas and they are also fantastic! Much better than anything else available locally. My faves are 'In the allotment ' and 'Smokehouse '. The only thing I would say that could be improved is the service. Especially when the place gets busy. Other than that I can 't fault the place.

My husband and I went for lunch to The Second Wife and since it was hot we went to sit in the garden area but still it was quite hot so we moved inside. Still it was quite warm so the hostess suggested we go down to the basement. That was like paradise. They had air conditioners on and the environment was very comfortable. In the garden area they had a large screen TV and no fans or other form of air conditioning and inside the only air coming in was from either of the two doors on either end of the restaurant. The basement was just perfect for a hot summer afternoon. We ordered Hummous and Falafel for our meal and I ordered a lemon mint drink (iced drink). The food was very high quality and...

The Second Wife had, in my view, cornered the 'big breakfast ' market in East London when I visited it last year and it is a crown which it still maintains in the halal food market which, let 's face it lacks in imagination in E7. 12 months on though and things have changed. The owner has installed a wood fired pizza oven and an array of toppings to satisfy the most challenging palate; and if you can 't find a pizza to your liking you can create your own toppings. I opted for the seafood pizza but there 's beef, chicken and even a breakfast pizza. Again another winner in the halal food market. And if you 're lucky you 'll even get service with a smile ... quite a change from the grumpy crew... Voir le carte
