we stopped after reading the reviews at midday. they served tapas style. not to know what to expect, we have ordered several teller as well.

we had a nice, agricultural dinner in the rattle owl in our first night in york. since we like to eat early anyway, we could benefit from it.

good fresh food. Sunday roast was excellent. starter (black pudding with hammock) was delicious. fertilizer was a bit like chewing on walnuts.

Sunday lunch very nice. was the star. had the braided lamb, which was rather tasteless disappointed. absolutely no fat in it so likely very healthy but. next time will have the meat. service good and people very nice.

We thoroughly enjoyed all the food we ordered at this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and always had a smile on their face. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend and would happily come back again.
