"The pub its self was extremely crowded and very loud. It was very hard to move around or go to the toilet easily. I doubt anyone could get table without booking. The menu was OK but sadly there were a few items unavailable. The starter of scallops was very nice, fish and chips were fine the chocolate brownie was also nice. The service was difficult given how crowded the pub was hence the delay in serving. It’s very popular if there is an event at to Royal Albert Hall so beware."

Great atmosphere, staff attentive but not intrusive. Food excellent, mains and starters exceptional. Perfect when visiting the RAH!

We had the most delicious shepherds pie and wild boar sausage and mash. This pub is buzzing with atmosphere, busy but the service is outstanding. Highly recommended, will be back again!

Don’t order the sausage mash. Someone in the kitchen needs to google a picture to get an idea of what they should be serving. There’s no way of polishing the particular turd of an excuse I received

The service was very friendly even when the restaurant was busy. The food was delicious, with beautifully presented cod and lamb dishes. They also had a good variety of ales and wines to choose from.

Came here on a busy Friday night and was not disappointed!!! Cocktails were incredible, bar staff very engaging, polite and attentive, especially the friendly northern bartender. Would highly recommend to anyone.

My parents came to visit from Spain for the weekend. They loved their Fish and Chips and their scotch egg. Been there only for drinks until now and loved the ambiance but now loved the food too. Mina was great and helpful as usual. :

Great pub with an amazing atmosphere if you are a pub lover. The staff super friendly and efficient , didn't have to wait long to be served. Came only for drinks this time but will definitely be back to try some of the “yummy sounding”food soon. Highly recommend!!!

Very underwhelming Service slow at the bar, staff not attentive Food very average arrived like warm Reserved a table only to find someone sat at when we arrived, slow to clear table and general slow service More interested in a large party of 10 then our table of 2 Probably will not return
