"We decided to try out The Queen's aptly titled Steak Night (6-8pm),on a bitterly cold November Saturday evening, and arrived at 7pm to find the place packed with diners. However, it was only ten minutes before a numbered table became available. There is a choice of starters, but we had garlic bread (4 pieces each of ciabatta) with bacon and cheese topping on a bed of lettuce....it was a meal by itself. The steak (rump) arrived shortly after, perfectly cooked, with chips, peas, mushrooms, onion rings, tomato and pouring pepper sauce. As this was all accompanied by a nice bottle of Pinot, and priced at £20 in total for two,the only question is how they manage such an excellent meal for the money. The food side of the pub was over by 9pm and was followed by a sparklingly good resident karaoke spot at 10pm (Suzie-oke),adding to the experience of a brilliant night out. Hardly surprising it's so busy, we shall return soon!"

My family and I stopped by the Queens for some tea. We had a delightful meal and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.

On the few occasions I've been to the Queen's some of their clientele have complete disregard for those with blue badges who genuinely need them

The restaurant always greets you warmly. The beer and food are good, but they could improve their website to provide clearer information on when food is available.

the first time here. on the way past on the footpath. very nice pint. the bar staff was friendly. the place itself looked beautiful. it seemed to be a whole series of natives in which in the rule is a good sign.

wonderful pub, really large beer garden, playground, good parking, very good beer, well maintained. fantastic staff, hard work, very helpful. big renter, nicer man, hard work and very funny. all in all, a great place to go for a whole drink, or a good night out.

We stopped in randomly and ordered a variety of dishes including gammon, pasta carbonara, and a burger. The food was excellent and we plan on returning to try more items from the menu. The chef was friendly and clearly took pride in his cooking. I highly recommend giving this place a try - it's a hidden gem.

Went in, ordered and was then told they didn’t have what we had already ordered. We could choose something else didn’t have to pay the difference.. not a lot of choice!! We ended up picking something lower in cost and didnt get the difference back! Not once was we asked how the food was, no salad served with the mains even thought it’s advertised! Steak was full of gizzel and fat. No taste and extremely chewy! Cajun chicken burnt, no taste, overcooked dry chicken. Microwaved rice not even broken up! Frozen chips. Sticky tables and as for the toilets! Disgrace!!!

Attended here last weekend and frankly i don't have a good word to say about the place. I ordered gammon and chips, chips were as pale as the ale and the gammon was hard as iron. I don't often complain and i didnt on this occasion, one of the reasons why i didnt complain was because of the way the landlord was speaking to his staff, and that was before any complaints. I have never met quite a man like him before, his sleazy comments to his staff which were completely inappropriate as well as aggressiveness when they didn't see a customer waiting to be served or there was an empty glass on a table waiting to be collected was quite disgusting. To top it off, i was ill the following day from th...
